Well i was at heatwave car show in dublin yesterday and the green eclipse out of fast and furious was there...next to it was a highly modified blue zed with reg A**EDX Is that car on this site or not as it looked very familiar but cant think where from so thought it must be from here!

Yes trish unfortunately that was my place that went down.....FAS trying to sort us out since were only in our second year of the apprenticeship. Hi all long time since i have been on here.....need insurance help, myself and a friend are looking at setting up a small valet company and to do collection and deliveries would need trade insurance, does anyone know any companies which provide trade insurance?? BTW 50% off to all zeds if we get it up and running! Plus i would be able to insure a zed myself if i get the trade insurance, any info will be greatly appreciated!!

60euro fine but in dublin they will take the car and then you have to pay 140euro a night and they wont let you take the car until you produce the slip to say tax has been paid for!

Just a quick question bought a new car yesterday and i think the standard alloys would look brlliant in black.....how hard is it to spray them myself and put clear lacquer on them?? Am i better of getting them done professionally??

No there was a crash when the top half of the fuselage peeled back. The captain managed to land the plane and only was casulty which was an air hostess was sucked out of the whole and her body was never found!

Like i just did a Gen Fam course on the A320 family and everything has back up systems so like for something to go wrong its like that system failed, then the second system failed oh then the auxialary system went aswell!!

Ha suppose close enough....still think the A320's are mental that all the pilot does is take off and climb to 100feet and then the sutopilot can do the rest even land!

Ha well essentially the technical name would be glue....i got shouted at today for saying glue.......it is structural adhesive! Should we tell him the engine is only held on through two mounts??

Ha ha yeah i really enjoying myself and having a laugh with everyone i work with....Its a good thing to get into i think espec with the 787 on its way.....plus the A320 series have composite flight controls i do believe! So far all i have been stuck with is bloody honeycomb! As for getting complex repairs i have only been getting silly little ones but not bad since i joined the shop on tuesday morning, the lad that joined with me has only been allowed watch the lad that he is with! Got four lovely corroded engine cowls off a russian 737 300series tomorrow so starting on the carbon fibre tomorrow!!

Just letting you know mate, back in the hangers at all last with my maths, physics, aerodynamics and materials and hardware EASA's under my belt! I started back in the hangers 3 weeks ago, got put into the composite shop until the overhaul starts picking up around October....absolutely loving it!

I couldnt get in to take the distributor cap off but the mechanic i use who is a family friend is doin it forst thing tomorrow mornin drying it n hoping for the best! Fingers crossed. Do you know anyone looking for a mini?? Perfect condition...."dry stored all year round":x::x:
