It happens when the tv is in standby so when I power it up with the remote the red light turns green as if it's about to power on and almost instantly switches off. Nothing to do with the switch on the tv itself, that's fine. I have just e-mailed them to see what they will say, I have yet to contact the shop I got it from.

It's a Panasonic TX32LXD70 and the guarantee will run out on 2nd of march it's first birthday, the thing I'm not sure about is wether the problem I'm having would qualifiy as a fault or not. It won't switch on from time to time, I have to switch it on/off about 5 times before it starts up properly but the thing is it only does it so often maybe once every two weeks so I have a feeling they will just turn around and say sorry we can't find a fault etc. I just don't want the guarantee to run out on 2nd and find out on 3rd it stopped working all together as things usually turn out.:rolleyes: Would I be wasting my time with this, what you guys think? Don't know if you know about vignette stickers for Austria and other countries, it's basically a toll charge, you have to buy them at petrol stations before you enter each country or you risk a hefty fine. And have plenty of change for all the other tolls.:rolleyes: Also don't forget the green card (proof of insurance) I didnt have mine in Bosnia and had to ask nicely (£££) if I could proceed. :rolleyes: By the way tom tom maps only go as far as Slovenia, you're on your own after that. I drove to Croatia last year, I tell you now, that's going to be some journey. :D
