I also have both and I like modern warfare as much as world at war but I just cannot put up with the twats spawn killing all the time!! not to mention all the other irritations. It's a shame they never updated it like they did waw. Anyway bring on the modern warfare 2 in around october. ;)

I use my PS3 for gaming so I wouldn't need SLi graphic cards etc. only a very basic card will do. That means that people who wish to buy new cars and don't have an "old banger" to exchange will not benefit from the scheme so they will have to fork out the full amount on a new car so it would be better just to buy one of someone who took advantage of the scheme and will still make a bit of a profit leaving the dealers to scratch their heads or give even more discount. :confused:

Generally it would be used for digital audio and virtual instruments (VSTi) and the software in which they are used in supports advanced multiprocessors so that's ok the only real issue is choosing a suitable motherboard and whether I should buy new or used as they generally seem to go for ages either way. To be honest I would be happy with the q6600 as it is but it would be nice to overclock it shall it be needed.

I think the key word here is "try" and it seems like some don't even bother to do just that. I admit I don't use spell checks and may get things wrong from time to time but I'll always double check my words and 2 type lyk dis iz jus plaine ignoranT.

Sounds good, but isn't overclocking only possible with specific mobo's? I would deffinetly opt for a user friendly one with a fail safe option. lol

Quite simply I need something FAST! preferably Intel I7 processor (extreme yumm) and some good memory. Don't need monitor, huge hard drives, graphic cards or soundcards etc. Just raw processing power. ( for music ) So all in all I need: Intel i7 processor as above, good motherboard with at least 2 pci-e slots and some fast memory and a decent hard drive all nicely secluded in a tower. Any recomendations and what price should I be paying for the above? cheers :D

I had eaxtcly the same thing happen to me, put the new belt in started no problem. Good luck.

When I had my cambelt done the mechanic forgot to replace 1 of the 4 washers on the cooling fan, it was only about 1mm but enough to create an imbalance which I guess damaged the water pump in the process as it was wobbling when further inspected. Anyway in the end that's what caused the noise as the slightly wobbly fan was hitting the fanbelt when the engine was revved. Just one of those 1 in a million. :rolleyes:
