  2. Thanks and lol, no that was because the passenger side was stuck and all i could smell was petrol, and both the windows wouldnt open :-(
  3. Ive got a big list, BUT no power mods unfortunatly, already own a 500bhp GTO, so this is going more for show. at the moment, sort out the problems i got like engine and autobox, service, body work, alloys to be refurned etc.
  4. Thanks, I know im going to get flamed for this, but Those rear lights look alot better in flesh hence im going to keep them, but the light surround will be changed to black.
  5. well done, thats going to be one fast Z, roughly how long do you think till its finished? of course it all depends on machining etc.

  8. trry and see if some members can bring it up for you? from where to where? i did this a while ago saved me alot of money and time.
  9. Yes Vijay it was, I didnt mind as it wasnt the guys fault,he was really surprised that after waiting this many hours for him I was still calm and collective, infact soo happy he called his manager 3 times on his radio to ensure the other recovery will be there ready waiting for me and it was. Just glad the cars home now. :-)
  10. called them at 8pm when I was broken down, got home 11 hours after, no appologies, takes 4 hours to get home, made me wait 3 hours for the flat bed with no explanation.:-(, got home at 6:45am and had to go straight to work, no mention that when the Driver does finally come to pick me up, he has to take a 45 minutes break before we can head off.
  11. please Join me in saying HUGE thanks to (300zx_666), and How much I hate the AA. 1 Ian went to see the a Z for me in Liverpool whilst I was still in Heathrow, Saved me time and of course Money. 2. Broke a deal with the seller better than I could have. 3) I went to collect the Z and whilst I was there he gave me his alloy so I could get home as one tyre was under the legal limit. 4) couldn’t get the z to start as the previous owner was there and I didn’t know how to start it due to a complex immobilser system, and no recovery company could help me out, when on did finally tuned up they said they couldn’t take the z to London for me as no tax was displayed. 5) had to drive all the way home without my Z  6) he went the next night whilst I was back in Heathrow to see the previous owner to Find out how to start the car with this complex immobiliser.then drove the z to the petrol station and then home without asking me for money for petrol. 7) I went there on Friday and he went to pick me up from the coach station at 6 am!! 8) I had to get a few bits and bob sorted for the Z like getting a new battery and a tyre, Old Swan tyres were Brilliant extremely helpful 9) about to set off at 7pm home when the Z decided it didn’t want to turn over again, so called recovery at 7:30 Ian told me many times just to stay over his. 10) Van came had a look and spent 1 ½ hours trying to establish the problem 11) 9:30 was told there will be a flat bed on its way within an Hour. Luckily Ian and Ian JNR was still around so had some company and they gave plenty of coffee and refreshments, which you can imagine well needed whilst waiting outside in the cold, they waited with me. 12) 12:15 flat bed finally arrives only to find out the driver is about to have a 45 minutes break once he loads the Z on. 13) 01:30 we finaly set of to toddington where another recovery will pick me and the z over and take me home 14) finally get home at 6:45 and had to go straight to work!!! So what a day well worth it in the end and sooo lucky Ian and his family were there, they looked after me like family and we have defiantly started of a great new friendship. So A massive thanks to Ian and his family for everything and the fact that they ensured I got home safely, and wanted me to contact them as sooooon as I Got home now matter what time. there were loadsa problems he had whilst the Z was still in liverpool with him but i wont put them down. Definatly one of the greatest and most patient family iver ever met. Thanks guys. Pics of the new Z will be put up later this evening, oh also a beggine post for free or cheap parts lol.
