  1. what was up with the brackets? was the gearbox modified to fit the engine?
  2. thanks, just need a runaround soon not yet, so still looking and this seems to be the best and cheapest option so far, not a bad looking car too.
  3. how about the saleen? i love em. http://www.car.ee/galleryPic.php/3912.jpg or lambhorgini Diablo.
  4. has anyone had had an e36 bmw 323i coupe? what are they like, ive seen some for around 800 pounds, need it as my runaround and some drift action lol. i was told by a few people that driving sensibly can get me 400 miles to the full tank. what ya reckon? got an insurance quote on the 325i and its 400 pounds high which is obviously too much so ill stick to the 323i. does the traction go off completely? if not no point in buying lol.
  5. weather is more predictable there too lol.
  6. he had a rover SD1 with only 20,000 miles on the engine. He took it out of his garage after 5 years, and starteds work on it, as everyone who knows these cars knows that its rudimentary to have a rusty one.... he took it for an MOT and it failed rotten sils underfloor e.t.c. he searched for a another stronger less rusty shell and finally found one in wales. so he picked it up it was a bare shell so an easy task to transport. this thread will be updated with pics as soon as i go around again. monday took all the brakes, gearbox, fuel tank, lines, suspension nuts bolts e.t.c. out of the old one. today we started work at 10:00 before i came round he had already managed to put in all brakes suspension joints e.t.c. in i had to be work at 13:30 we had a time restraint so he took all the connecting lines out the day before so all we had to do on the day was just to transplant the engine in the better shell. al done within 2 hours. still left to do? fuel tank, line brakes, handbrake, heater and a lot more, were hoping to get all this done within the next 2 weeks as we want to finish this before the summer (if any) ends. pics will be up when i go around next time maybe this sunday.
  7. sorry to hear that mate, i thought that when you get a tracker, no ones knows where the tracker is fitted other than the company, and not even the owner is told, thats what horizon tracker told me..
  8. was in my mates 400 bhp zed, and we saw a rs6 grey approach us very slowlyy, after exchanging glances, both cars took off, my mates zed was already on a low gear ready for it, we kept up with him from 40-60 and then for some reason he left us silly, i honestly think that the guy thought the zed was standard and didnt put the pedal to thefloor, but when he did you could really tell the difference from the sound of the engine and his exhaust. he did have an after market xhaust too.
  9. for this one pls dont read the comments till after.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jbPMHVJdDI

  13. heres an email i got back from an advertised car. Hello and sorry for the late reply, I am emailing you regarding the 2004 BMW 320 Cd that we have for sale. The car is in excellent condition, with 78k miles mainly motorway, non-smoker, never been involved in any crash, no scratches, everything works as it should. The full service history is available, full HPI check, MOT April 2010/Tax until December 2009. The car is currently located in Cardiff. The price that we are asking for this car is GBP 2800. We have recently relocated to Dublin where my husband got his temporary job transfer. We will be staying here for the next year and therefore we need to make some financial arrangements..so we've decided that the BMW must go. A few days ago a person told us that she is very interested in purchasing so my husband had to fly back to UK to close the deal. Since we trusted his word, my husband came all the way to Cardiff the next day and met that person but the guy turned up with £500 less than the asking price... the problem is not about the money that my husband spent for the plane tickets.. but he lost 2 working days for nothing. Time is very precious for us as we are involved in some major events right now and don't have too much time at our disposal; we are a serious family and this person really disappointed us... Since we've been disappointed once, this time we want to make sure that you are seriously interested in buying this car before we meet and my husband will fly to UK only if we have an assurance of your intentions. Of course it will be no problem if you decide not to buy the car. But we want to be sure that you will be there to meet my husband and handle the deal in a civilised manner. If you are still seriously interested in going further with the deal let us know. Cheers, Amanda P.S. Here are some pictures of the car . Just click on this weblink: http://s559.photobucket.com/albums/ss32/amdj_photos/ normal value of these cars are around 10k. got an email address modified it slightly a****@adspulse.co.uk

  18. calibras also have them aswell as turbo cavaliers e.t.c. theres a guy near me running a very old looking corsa with a calibra turbo who raced a friend of mine, with a evo 9 whos running a proven 380 bhp and he lost not sure how lo,. The corsa was running around 350 and he fitted a type of traction control to it? he said he spent around 8000 pounds getting it to the level it is. it even says diesel 1.5 at the back of it lol. hes an idiot though as he purposly (sp) gets in front of other turbo/ fast cars to make them race him....:xxx:
  19. i didnt know MG tried to make a super car to rival porsche? anyway dont think they did a good job for a car worth over 80,000. here's some pictures. looks like a 350z mixed with TVR. http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A1f4cfymYXRKty0A7HNLBQx.?ei=UTF-8&p=MG%20SV-R&vm=r&rd=r1&fr2=tab-web&fr=yfp-t-501

  22. this is a email i received may be a scam. Dear all, I have been passed this story today. A woman visited the toilet in John Lewis @ Blue water and hung her handbag on the back of the toilet door. As she carried on about her business, a hand suddenly appeared over the top of the stall and grabbed her bag clean off the hook!!! She immediately reported the incident to the head of security, who in turn informed the manager of the store. A couple of days later she had a call from the head of security to say her bag had been found without her purse. So she arranged a convenient time to go and meet the manager to collect her things. On arriving at the John Lewis store at the agreed time, the manager was not expecting her & neither was the head of security. No one from the store had actually called her as the bag had still not been found. When the lady got home, her house had been burgled with no sign of forced entry. The Police believe the robbers had used her Driving License for the address and her keys to let themselves in! This is real - it isn't just a scaremongering story. Many will be so shocked at how complex bag snatching crime has become. Please be extra vigilant ladies AND gents (with your man bags) there are a lot of desperate criminals out there! PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS SO WORD GETS AROUND!
