is a grey non turbo shell from fb market place, going to been a proper inspection but dose appear to be in a lot better shape than mine.

Dragged my poor zed out from that back of the garden in prep for a replacement shell turning up in 2 weeks :D

Hello all! been a long time! starting the proses of getting a zed back on the road and while going through my old zed i found my ecu has been socketed and wanted to try and identify this Eprom. couldn't find any information online but though some of the big brains in here might have seen one before and recognize it. any help appreciated but understand there were quite a few types of these out there and may never know without pulling it and reading it. many thanks :)

Out of curiosity decided to weigh both Zed's, my daily red zed and the black ine that's being prepared for some casual track day fun. Currently it's just the most basic of weight saving but 250kg removed so looking forward to getting this out on track ??

they're both the same mate. also the same as a primera i believe, thats what i got for mine and was a straight swap

The thing is my neighbour is just as bad a me with a mk5 cortina and a v8 swapped vauxhall victor, we're both as bad as each other :P

its defiantly heavier, but not by an awful lot, the original engine is cast iron block and the v8 is ally. The gearbox is probably the biggest difference being its all steel vs the original ally. its still good fun to throw about :D

i think the mk2.5 is better, defiantly more refined, and looks better hence why i put a 2.5 front end on mine. but i cant lie i do love the popups on mk1's

Hey guys, thought id share what I've been up to lately as i thought a few of ya might like this little project I've been working on. While i love my 300 last august i decided to start a new project, something to challenge myself a little, so i brought a mk2 mx5 and a 3.5 rover v8... im sure you can see where this is going :biggrin: and over the past 9 month iv been tinkering away on the driveway and finally have a working car! its pretty fun too (still not as fast as the zed though) complete with 99 spec spoiler and midnight purple paint :D

should sent him an offer for £17.49? :lol:

You are not alone!! I have this exact same fault and put it down to breaks. They have since been replaced (3 times) and no change. I'm suspecting tension rod bushes as these could be causing the wheel to move backwards under breaking (towards the rack) and trying to push the toe in. That't my logic, ordering new ones on payday xD

hey guys finally thinking about replacing my dash, everything behind mine is cracked and all the mounts for the radio trim are gone, if anyone's got a good dash hanging around would greatly appreciate it thanks Jay
