No worries It needs a bit of welding I was gona do it but have to many other things on at the moment. The car's red and it's it not got any MOT as it was imported and stuck in a garage for ages. All the papers are there for it and it's been HPI'd.. It's got a cracking interior and engine and box are fine. I'm just gona drift the tit's off it then break the rest :) Craig

Yep and it's not that rotten.. Inner wings need a couple a small plates but the sills are solid even inside the rear arch where they normally go. Rear arches are ****ed but it not that bad .. If you wan't it be fast as it's going drifting at Crail next weekend other wise Craig

Somit funny going on here tonight.. My reps and answers appear to be disappearing.. The nearside aint the same as the off side and I really need pixs of the car with all the crap stripped off cause it's the head lamp mounting plate that I need to reform.. Chassis leg escaped the C3 thankfully. The burners on it tomorrow night "pix or not" I'll just form it up to the bumper and wing and weld the rest in.

If it comes to the crunch I'll press them to fit but I'd rather just buy a set to bolt on "Mechanic Remember" :) The top unit has been replaced before and was nearly seized it was so lumpy I've no idea why it couldn't be heared with the motor running. Warning to everyone I guess !!!!

Hi John and thanks for the reply I can get the bearings no bother but they come separate for the inner and outer carrier "May cause line-up problems when pressing them in" just wondered if they could be bought on here. The power steering pump has packed in as well it's a 94 model "about half the size of the older unit" RiceRocket recons £200 ish for a rebuild :( .. Ronnies not to happy..

Hi Guys Not content with just rebuilding my own car I stripped Ronnies Zed today to fit a timing belt to find one of the Idler bearings very nearly seized and the other two pretty noisy. I spotted numbers on the bearings so pressed them out only to find there in a special housing with no hard stop cut in. I don't fancy trying to line these up by eye, so where can I get a bearing kit and much is it gona cost?? Ta Craig

Hi Guys Right I need pictures of the nearside of the Zed with the wing off. I'm gona have to cut my headlamp mounting area and bend it back into shape so need some idea of what it looked like before it was remodeled by a small french car. Dave-G and I raced one a couple of times at Crail and there was nothing in it cars sat pretty much together the whole why up the strip both times..

Well cars back on it's wheels again .. doesn't look nearly as bad as it did sitting on blocks off for two weeks next week so the car will be back !! I'm still looking for a front wheel ANYONE !!!! Craig
