  1. I would have loved to come down and give you a hand, I'm only in Leicester aswell! but I work night shifts on weekends :/ If for any reason I don't go to work, I have a bad cough you see ;) lol I'll give you a shout! PM me your number
  2. Its not a Z31 Key, possibly it's a US 280zx Turbo key, can't say for sure It can't be a master key, a master key wouldn't be fancy looking
  3. I'll be getting some seats, probably bolt them to the floor using side mounts
  4. 5.3 stone really? :scared: thats almost half of me
  5. These LM's are with a friend at the moment, the reason for mega LM temptation is that these particular ones were made as a direct upgrade for the Z32, unlike my old LM's on my Z31 were made for the Supra, which mean't I had to get the centerbores bored out and have custom spacers built for them to work on the Z31 properly did look nice though :D I miss that car
  6. Gary your SWB is lookin' real sweet on 18's :cool3: Have to agree with RichardSmith and MeisterR about keeping 17's, since my car kinda suits them already, keeping 17's means a bit more sidewall to play with and tyres are considerably cheaper. now just wondering wether to keep these Work Equip or go for some genuine BBS LM's I have been offered...hmmmmm! :whistling:
  7. Thanks guys, yeah the rear needs to come down a bit, just need to roll the arches first I think 17's will be ok especially when I'm planning to run semi-slicks I have genuine BBS LM's on the way for this, I'll either sell these Work Wheels or keep 'em as spares
  8. Right, well just need to know what you guys think I'm sure this has been discussed in the past(not when I was on here) anyways my SWB is on 17's... specifically 9j and 10j I have a choice of going for 18's for fair amount of cash or keeping these 17's or getting different 17's for not so much cash so what are people's opinion on 17's and 18's, personally I love 18's on the Z32, but I am planning on making my Z into a semi-track car and I'd like to run decent slicks or semi-slicks which 17's be best for. looks wise... what you guys think? 9. Hi guys, I'm looking to get an aftermarket wheel for the Z, I was looking to get this short boss below http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHORT-STEERING-WHEEL-HUB-BOSS-KIT-NISSAN-300ZX-/180863803864?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a1c52a1d8&_uhb=1#ht_4826wt_1163 but the advert says that "HICAS has to be removed" a quick google revealed the HICAS steering sensor or something doesn't align and the light comes on and makes the HICAS unpredictable and basically messes up the handling whats the easiest way of sorting this? do I have to remove the HICAS system completely or is there a way to turn the HICAS and the warning light off? bare in mind I dont want the handling of the car to be unpredictable due to steering wheel sensor not calibrated... ideally want the HICAS and the light to be switched off, without removing the whole thing which is a mission I can get a lockout bar, but would that keep the light off? Thanks Sascha PS: Does anyone has a Stillen GTZ lip by any chance for sale? :whistling:
  10. Mark, is the Twinz one available in UK or has to be ordered from abroad? found this one off a S2000... dunno if it'll fit or how it'd look
  11. I'm after a rear under diffuser for the Z32 so whats available in UK? apart from this one I found on eBay...
  12. Got it today mate, cheers! :)
  13. I have R32 GTR calipers... tempted to stick them on... not a huge upgrade but they are rebuilt with good pads... hmmm!
  14. mine does this, but its very very small, only noticeable if you're at the traffic light for a while... sitting quietly, the RPM needle stays solid, no fluctuation or jumping maybe its in my head
  15. Thanks Paul and Mark, I don't tend to use the Z for constant track use, a nice brake upgrade would be nice though! :D
  16. Hi guys, yesterday had a pretty heavy session of using my Z32 TT on a private runway for testing purposes for a company, basically I was taking the car at very high speeds and braking hard before the end of the runway and turning around, doing this a few times. well the question is, after a while the brakes felt shit, felt spongey like if there was air in the system, at one point almost went of the runway but luckily the runway was very wide so managed to do a high speed U-Turn(didn't think it was possible lol) anyways, I checked the brakes after they seemed fine, and after I let the car cool off and made my way back home the brakes were fine, so I'm guessing pads/discs and possibly brake fluid being overheated is the culprit here? Thanks
  17. my JDM Z32 doesnt have an oil pressure light, just the gauge, which works when it wants to :/ only my US Z31 had both the gauge and the light
  18. yeah, driver side front, passenger side front, driver side rear and then passenger side rear just do the fronts in your case. I imagine the calipers are pretty big hence they have 2 nipples, bleed via bother nipples, once you feel pedal feels nice and tight, move on to the next caliper dont forget to keep the brake fluid lid open with plenty of fluid in it and dont let it run empty. see how that goes mate
  19. Dont think rears need bleeding, try bleeding again, remember to leave open the resovoir lid/cap, leave enough fluid in it. try bleeding through both nipples, I'm not familiar with Brembos to be honest. I think the reason your rears are working hard is because your having to press the brake pedal really hard for the fronts to work.
  20. Nah, shouldnt matter Did you bleed in the correct order? start from the closest brake to the master cylinder to the furthest
  21. I'm not sure about the part numbers, if you post up a pic then I can see and tell R32 and Z32 calipers look similar but they are easily distinguishable, these are my R32 GTR ones
  22. I am selling a full R32 GTR brake kit, includes pads / calipers / discs and HEL performance brake lines. difference between the Z32 TT brakes and R32 GTR is that the R32 GTR calipers allow the use of bigger and wider discs, also they're lighter which reduces the un-sprung weight, I've also been told the diameter of the pistons are bigger but I never verified this myself, if you use R32 brakes with good discs and pads, thats all you'll ever need.
  23. I have a daily Citroen I use... so much less stress aswell lol
  24. it's idling fine now :/ the car has mind of its own... another update: the oil pressure gauge does work, when accelerating it does move around, sits at 0 usually when at stand still or driving slow
