rear shocks uk and jap
is there any way to enable the actuator manually? am i correct in saying that the actuator is enabled by the handbrake? is it possible to install a US-spec switch to manually adjust this? has anyone done this before? for those of you that dont know, US cars have a switch by the electric mirror switch that has Touring and Sport settings. As far as I know the US cars are adjustable all round and UK only at the rear, is this correct?

Rear Subframe Bushes
silicone grease filled. i am trying to get the same work done! i am trying to get hold of nismo subframe bushes, although they are not made anymore so i might use poly for the subframe and nismo for the rest of the rear bushes.

ploybush clunk noise
hi guys i need to polybush the rear of my car, but I was advised that if I have this work done, there will be a small 'clunk' noise when the car takes off in 1st gear. does anyone have this problem? does anyone here know the cure for it? will nismo bushes avoid this? also if anyone can pinpoint which bushes individually cause this please let me know, as i might substitute those particular bushes for Nismo ones. Also, is it 'safe' or advisable to mix polybushes with nismo bushes? thanks darren

Manufacture Dates and Reg dates - UK models
on jap cars generally, there is a tag sewed onto the seatbelt towards the bottom, it has a manufactured date, thats how i knew my 300zx reg'd in 1992 (UK car) was made in 1991. i think its a red tag on the zed

1999 spec zeds
thats like what i saw! thanks for the info guys! does anyone know much about registering a post 1997 jap car (ones affected here by ESVA) in other EU countries? I know 'Brommler Nissan' in germany import the r34 skyline and sell it, skylines as you know cannot be imported due to esva...

1999 spec zeds
hi guys i saw a black 1999/2000 spec twin turbo when in thailand last year, it had a tan interior, tan recaros, xenons, and the whole aero kit (99 spec spoiler bumper and side skirts). it looked excellent, I was wondering, was this spec car with the recaros a special edition? are there any 1999 spec zeds here in the uk which were imported before the esva rules? darren

Focus Rs V R33 Gtr
hi just to let you guys know i raced a brand new focus st down the a40 today, it was very quick... bbut not as quick as the zed.
-
Focus Rs V R33 Gtr
i would have thought so, I raced a focus rs near heathrow airport, upto about 40 we were neck and neck then i pulled away, i have an auto twin turbo with blueflame zorst and apexi filter, i thought i would be slower but the few launches that we did I pulled away. However i was sure if the driver of the focus could shift gears better he would have had me upto about 50/60 then the 300zx torque would allow me to surge ahead. i would have thought stock for stock the gtr r33 would kill the focus.
