  1. recon it's the resistor on the master socket should make any differance on the the master socket which way round it is but all slave sockets should connected with resistors over three or more points you are connecting to the right crone points

  3. Hi Two choices swap the box will be a nightmare because it's on tube or get screw in extension lugs 3.5mm you will have to tap the box out with a tap in the position that that the front plate screws line up with.
  4. Got loads of old boxes in the garage take a photo might be able to match for you that would save loads of grief
  5. Hi Think I no what you mean are you talking about the bit on either side of the box that the 3.5mm countersunk screw goes into,you may have a problem as a lot of them you can't replace unless you swap the whole box.

Got just a little experiance on this lol go to bonhams they have free valuation sessions if they can't price it there and then they will send it to knightsbridge london for denby easton to have a look at will take 6-8 weeks and they are cheapest on commision but you might have to wait for the next relevant auction but don't get your hopes up as the victorians were master fakers but saying that it looks ok at face value
  18. ok no don't want any bolt on to the stand alone na v6 just want to upgrade it with rods and pistons and all the other ancillaries and might put nos on it don't like turbo's had to many bad experiances with them to last me a life time, how difficult?
