  1. I just got the following through on the email... A woman rented a Citroen C4 in Budapest. She drove from Budapest to Pécs. Approximately 220km. In 1st gear. She thought it was automatic. Attached the insurance photo's of the engine and the bonnet. Check the piccies.
  2. That's a good site. My plan was to buy a seperate lens, I am just hoping for some tips in buying a decent camcorder at a low price. Ebay seems my best bet, but I do like having a proper warranty!
  3. Yep, very difficult decision. I don't have the money for wheels yet, but I don't have a clue what to go for either! Good luck...
  4. Want to keep it as low as possible. maybe using ebay if neccessary. Assume £300
  5. Guys, I'm looking at buying a camcorder, mainly to film the upcoming snowboarding holiday. I would like one that I can add a wide angle lens to. Does anyone have any experience or even just opinions? Thanks, Mike...
  6. I'm sure it is an NA.
  7. Really sorry to hear that John. You're a good bloke and I hope things work out for you. I'm still keen to get that air con compressor off you at some point (you've got my mobile). Take Care, Mike...
  8. Have a word with John Dixon, he may be able to help you out, if he's not too busy...
  9. That looks sweet mate. Can't wait to see what it looks like in the light!
  10. I got mine from Import Solutions over 12 months ago, and it's still fine.
  11. Could be warped discs. That caused the same symptoms on my Zed.

So they destroy what looks like a perfect NSX and create a very strange one-off "Ferarri" These people need their heads examined. IMO they are fools.
  13. OK you win. good on yer mate.
  14. I am currently in a state of disbelief. I am about to pick my zed up from the garage where it is having a couple of things looked at. The bill is £21. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: This has to be the cheapest garage bill a Zed has ever had. Can anyone better that?

What seems to be forgotten here is that the Jap imports are sooo much better than the UK ones. What hasn't been mentioned is the little differences that make the Jap so good. like: folding wing mirrors, power/hold button on gearbox, side light/fog light configuration at the front, don't have silly little headlight washer thingies. Plus the most important thing (which has already been mentioned) RUST Rant over.
  16. I have a Clifford too but I am not happy with it. All I ever hear about Clifford alarms is how much trouble they are. If I was buying a new alarm system, the only company I would avoid is Clifford. HTH, Mike...
  17. I'm sure they did have a panel of experts, but the standard exhaust was designed for a standard set of Tubs, standard ECU etc. So if your car is standard you probably can't get much better than the original exhaust. Conversly, if you have fitted a load of mods you will need an exhaust to match. I promise I will never post about exhausts again, it's exhausting...
  18. Nicely put Retro620ti, Also Bart, For optimum performance the zorst should be as straight as possible without too many kinks/bends that would slow the gases down. the temperature, volume and pressure of gases are all related. In a hypothetical world the zorst should also have a slight taper on it, so that the diameter decreases towards the back of the car. This helps to keep the pressure the same all the way along the zorst and keep the speed of gases the same too as they cool towards the back of the car.
  19. Most of what has been said is just opinion! If you want the best performance then you need to talk to someone who really understands the fluid dynamics involved in engines/exhausts. perhaps someone who makes custom exhausts. Greg is spot on with both of these comments.
  20. Hi W1NG, I'm not an expert but you are on the right lines talking about back pressure. you need to have the optimum back pressure (bearing in mind any mods) in order to get the most power out of the engine. Mike...
  21. Can't wait to see the finished results. I'm excited about the V8 conversions and I'm not involved in them, I don't know how you guys can sleep at night (or sleep in the day if you are JD!) Mike...
  22. If you ask behind the counter, rather than looking in the little booklet they will tell you the exact Bosch product numbers. I replaced mine from Hellfrauds only a week ago. I think the code needed was 21/21JS. Mike...
  23. There are a few parts that are OK, but as cars in their own right they are all minging :hurl: and WTF has he done to his lights, I am gobsmacked.
  24. Sorry to hear that, but look on the bright side, it could be a normal renault megane... They're just rubbash!
