  5. I'll send it via courier, can get cheap stuff through my work with a tracking number :) - - - Updated - - - Don't really wanna send my bank details to some guy on ebay, appreciate its quick but he could do with them whatever he wants!
  6. Well he's offered me £1350 for the kit, which is a very decent sum of money... I'm based in York and he's in London so cash on collection isnt an option unfortunately... I've messaged him asking if he'll pay by cheque though, I can then clear it before I send the kit!
  7. Ok thanks guys, didnt realise you could request money back through this. I'll ask him to send a cheque and see what he says... He does have about 100 stars and has 100% feedback over a period of a few years, but still, wary...
  8. Afternoon guys Need a little bit of advice re ebay... Basically, I am selling some IT kit. Some of the items are still in the box, never opened, but are now not going to be used. Someone has offered me a fair amount of money to buy them "off ebay" - asking me to end the auctions, send him my paypal address and he will pay, then I send him the items. I am a little bit suspicious as I know that a lot of dodgy stuff can go on, and some sellers on here have been screwed over recently, so wondering what people think the best course of action is? Any thoughts please? Thanks! Alex
  9. is this the zed that ajuj12 had for sale? Ryan's old car I think?

  18. Subscribed membership costs £20 per year, you get a membership pack with a keyring, some decals, and other nice bits. It also allows you to PM and do various other bits. You can find out about subscribing here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?132930-Club-Subscription-Benefits Cheers Alex
  19. you need to be a subscribed member to be able to send PM's :)
  20. Do it the other way round - get the policy in your name and add a parent as a named driver. That way, it doesnt look like the parent is trying to "front" the policy so the younger driver can build up a no claims. I'm 23 - I'm with Admiral on a multicar policy, pay around £950 for a year for my TT zed (1k per year) and my diesel Renault (10k per year)...
  21. luminous green :D
  22. exhaust is a Japspeed one only fitted about 5000 miles ago by previous owner so shouldnt be rotten already?
  23. Thanks guys - the smoke doesn't really smell of anything and does die down after about 15 minutes once the engine has warmed up properly (I do take it for a short spin on the private roads near where I live, so it doesnt just idle). Just wanted to make sure I wasn't just being paranoid :) Oh and btw carmad - the car does still have cats in it at the moment... although I plan on changing that over winter! Cheers Alex
  24. Afternoon guys, Started my zed up this afternoon to run it for a short while (it's off the road now for winter), just to make sure that there are no problems with it, no leaks or anything, and of course to keep the battery charged... I know it's been sat for a week and its been cold but there seemed an awful lot of smoke coming out the exhaust - is this normal or should I be concerned? Vid of smoke below: qve-fNzX5Ww Also, after turning the engine off, for a minute or so after the engine goes off there are some small wisps of smoke that come from the exhaust as well, see other vid: S8dTid5Cif0 Am I just being paranoid or is there anything that I should probably check out? Thanks Alex
