  1. Well I am after some red badges for my wheels.
  2. Another nice buy, the cover that goes on the top of the door pillar, new genuine nissan, not sure if you can get these any more.
  3. My birthday present arrived. My aim for next year is to get the ride quality sorted. & new clutch & flywheel.
  4. 1. Craig - 3 nights Friday to Monday 2. Joel - 3 nights Friday to Monday 3. t.mogsy - 1 night (kings head hotel) Saturday to Sunday
  5. Cheers Craig, I'll have a look to see what other hotels are around. It was a bit much last time as a day trip, with all the driving.
  6. Is it possible to do a one night stay Craig? If not could you let me know which hotel nearby Paul recommends. Was a great day last time can't wait for this next year.
  7. Looks really good, I wanted to go this year but off to hamburg tomorrow for the weekend. Hope all goes well.

  9. Thanks for the comments. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do but she will be off the road for winter in a few weeks so wont be rushing into anything.
  10. Nice one Scott. I'll let you know what time I'm getting there.
  11. I'll be going along for a few hours this Sunday, anyone else wana go? Last one of the year for me.
  12. I'd still have the slicktop but that wouldn't be as fun as the TT on those roads.
  13. I know that's why I don't know what to do, I would like a new project but it would be hard to let go of this one.
  14. I'll probably sit on it over winter as it'll be sorn anyway. Already discussed getting the paint sorted next year but if someone comes with some cash it'd be hard to say no. I do have a build thread somewhere but never kept it up to date. - - - Updated - - - I'll swap it for your merc.
  15. Lol she's telling me to keep it. I fancy a change, car not wife.
  16. You shaking your head cus you're in the picture? Lol
  17. I didn't start a for sale thread as I'm still not 100% sure I'm going to sell but I am considering selling my lwb TT manual. Its been my project for the past 5 years. Its had a lot of work done & money spent in that time & has some nice bits on it, meister coilovers, one piece prop, split rims, custom rear lights, stillen lip, new interior from Mondo, Altia door sills just too much to mention. Had a new cambelt & full service with jimmer last month, 11 months mot. Only things that need doing are a bit of paint on the roof & boot lid, possibly a new flywheel soon & the ride is harsh as it's all poly bushed. If I decide to keep it all that will be sorted next year. This is just a heads up really, not sure of a price if I do sell I'll put up a proper for sale thread with a better write up & pictures.
  18. Mines all swapped over now, got anonther one for the swb still to do.
  19. What are the rear lights like Andy? Need to find someone to convert them for me......
  20. Message Keith, KJZ32, he might have one.
  21. It amazed me how quick he works. He messaged me with pictures of the cambelt issues, I gave him the go ahead & it was finished a few hours later. I thought there was no way I'd be able to collect it yesterday.
  22. Why has it taken me five years to get to Jimmer?! On Monday I was up at 4am for the drive to PowerZed. The car was there for an mot & service. As soon as I pulled up he could hear something wasn't right with the engine & said it could be bearings on the cambelt pulley. Anyway, he made me a cuppa & then dropped me at the station & I started my journey home. He messaged me later with pictures of a big air leak which he had fixed. The next day he messaged me with bad news, the bearings on the top roller of the cambelt had gone & he had to change the cambelt. The idlers & tensioner shouldve been replaced by the previous 'specialist' & I do remember asking them to be changed as I didn't have any history with the engine but wasn't surprised they weren't. I got the train back down this morning to collect the Zed & it was a joy to drive it home even with 2 hours of traffic delays. The engine is running much smoother & cooler. I don't want to turn this into another Lee Dent thread but if you've ever had any engine work done by him then take my advise & get the work checked as soon as you can. I was lucky & I've got peace of mind now knowing the car has been checked & issues put right. I won't be taking my zed anywhere else now but PowerZed.
