  1. That's a good idea, will have a look see what's for sale. Just stripping it down now, don't know what colour to go for. I've got loads of black paint but might go white to match my zed.
  2. I like it, had a black bonnet on my old one as my red one had dodgy paint. Red & black always looks good in my opinion.

  4. Just got this in the post, damage is no where near as bad as I thought. Gonna start stripping it down for paint.

  7. Thanks mate, hopefully he can help me out.
  8. Very sad, he was my favourite aswel for the brief time I watched it as a kid. His entrances were always the best.
  9. I'd be very interested to see that Baz. I wasn't sure whether to buy it or not but thought the price was good & might spray it white to match my zed. Was looking at the red one too but already got one in red.
  10. Not much damage, wing mirror is hanging off & bonnet is scratched. - - - Updated - - - Haha, good idea mate, might be the wrong scale though.
  11. Does anyone know the best place to buy parts for model cars? 1:18 scale. Been looking on eBay but there doesn't seem to be much choice for wheels & exhausts etc. I couldn't resist buying one of the damaged model Zeds that were on eBay last night so looking to take it apart & modify it a bit seeing how it's already damaged, might even respray it if I've got the time.
  12. Looks like an abflug - - - Updated - - - Like this one http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174174-Abflug-Type-2-rear-spoiler&highlight=Abflug
  13. I won! Got £33, £1 each way.
  14. Good decision mate, then it'll go as good as it looks. You going for a colour change now or still sticking with silver?
  15. That's looking very nice mate. How much longer before it's on the road?
  16. Now you're taxed you should do a road trip to the wirral this weekend. While you're here you can drop off some rear lights & pick some others up
  17. Nice one Bri, will be expecting some fruit pastels next time I'm round.
  18. Nice work Dan.
  19. Thanks Ian, it's taking shape now. Really missed it this weekend with the weather being so good.

  21. Welcome mate, there's a meet in chester next Saturday if you wana come along.
  22. Had a bit of time today to write down what's been done, I'm sure Lee will tell me what I've missed off. Engine: new water pump, thermostat, cambelt, spark plugs, alternator. Plenum sprayed, red silicone hoses, polished water pipes, water bypass, egr delete, air con removed. NA power steering pot. All parts cleaned & some resprayed in satin black. Japspeed radiator & chrome bracket. Japspeed exhaust & decats fitted. All the brake pipes have been checked & redone in places. Lee has also sourced a lot of missing parts. Bumpers & skirts are currently being resprayed. Rear lights are getting the 99 spec treatment. Things to do Change the rear diff. Replace rear hub assembly's. Fit conceptua hicas lock out bar. Fit new clutch & refit gearbox. Fit rear shocks.
  23. Plenum is looking good mate. Might do mine red eventually
  24. Yeh I really liked that thanks mate, & thanks for the alarm too.
  25. His place is full of Zeds at the moment Ian. Great for him though, the word is spreading. - - - Updated - - - His place is full of Zeds at the moment Ian. Great for him though, the word is spreading.
