  1. CZP, cut the old one off & the new one slides on. Wish I'd gone for the black ones now though with having the blue panels.
  2. Swapped out the Alcantara under dash panels for nice dark blue leather ones I got from a swb breaker recently. Unfortunately the door cards were series 1 so will have to find some faux leather in the same colour & retrim mine. Also removed the seats & gave them & the carpet a good clean.
  3. I think this issue is now fixed, need a cooler day to fully test it as its so hot in the zed already but if it is fixed then the problem was another Lee Dent bodge, I'm working my way though them on this zed.
  4. I'm starting to look into this properly now. I've removed all the dash panels so I can get a good look. Does anyone have any pictures of the front with the dash removed so I can see if theres any bits I'm missing. I'm going to change the heater ECU first for a known working one & go from there.
  5. They look like car mad smooth skirts but blended in
  6. I'd have to say Only Fools & Horses for me, it ran for so long & was always so funny. Also, bottom & the young ones as I love rik mayall, & Seinfeld.
  7. He shouldn't be allowed near zeds, I'm sure hes killed more than hes fixed.
  8. That car mad one is my old zed. Did look nice but like Jim said, the rear trims that clip on the boot lid wont fit, I left them off mine.
  9. It does, haven't seen another one like it.
  10. I collected the swb on Friday, here's a few more pics. Still need to spray & fit the roof trims but she looks so good. She doesn't look like an old banger any more lol.
  11. I've got some dark blue leather dash panels but that's it up to now. I've got an impul front light cover here for you from Keith.
  12. Just got back from seeing Keith & my newly painted slicktop. What a transformation! The paint work previously was pretty bad but solid so I really didn't expect it to look as good as it does but hes done an amazing job. Can't wait to pick it up next weekend.
  13. Happy birthday mate
  14. Same here Gaz, I wasnt sure on them at first but look great fitted.
  15. Not me but Keith has been very busy painting my slicktop. Its nearly ready.
  16. Met up with Dave today in a foggy liverpool for a cars & coffee meet.
  17. I drove my zed around the block last weekend for the first time since October, I forgot how harsh the ride was. So today i changed the front lower suspension arms. The old ones were well past it, the new SPC ones look much better & I definitely felt a difference on the test drive. Gave her a wash & fitted the front lights Andy re did for me as water was getting in. Meet in liverpool tomorrow.
  18. James Corcoran on Facebook has a garage in liverpool. He might just do bodywork though but worth asking.
  19. Been spending some money on parts. New scuttles, bumper brackets, intercoolers with new hoses & ducts. Having to modify the ducts & brackets slightly to fit. The duct in the pick is for the other side before anyone says anything ?
  20. That's a good idea Ian, didn't think of that.
  21. I will offer it up but will have to wait until I get the car back. Will look better with it on I think, if it fits.
  22. I've got a plastic strip so was thinking about putting that on if it did fit, would save giving Keith more work lol. Is your strip already scuffed Richard?
