I bought this stuff. Scratch remover It isnt a magic cure and I am not sure if it works on glass. But its the best I have used on paint work and it leaves the area you repair in better shape than the rest of the car :) . Like glass. I would recommend it. ............I am going for a drive in my 300ZX with the wife and with the Targa's off. After 3 days of building a block paved patio in the garden I think I deserve it. The weather looks sweet and I feel in a good mood. Nowhere to go and plenty of time to get there.. Got a decent digital camera too, so will take a few pictures. catch you all later. :cool:

That sounds about right mate. I aint exagerating about my encounter. I have had bikes for many a year now. Before I ever had a car. I know a decent rider when I see one and he was going for it too. My ol' lady wasnt impressed niether :) But when we pulled up to a round a bout he nodded at me (IN DEFEAT). my little 650 bandit would beat my 300zx to about 80 (ish) but after that its by by bike. A few years ago I had a full power V Max. that got to about 125 MPH and started to want to throw me up the road. Now that would have beaten my zed all the way. That was an awsum fooking machine. It got nicked. :cry:

I dont know about a 750 BHP. I think it would have beat the 6R from the start I had a race with a 6R and he led until I hit about 100 MPH and then I left him behind.

It sounds like when they sanded the body to key it for the paint they did it with a bit too heavy grade abrasive? Not a lot can be done however as the laquer will obviously contain anything that has been done under itself just like a virtual sheet of glass. If you can live with it then OK if not you should take the car back and see what they say. The problem with some spray shops is the lighting. If it isnt great then the finish can not be appreciated until its in daylight. They could of course maybe apply another coat of laquer with a hint of colour to try and hide the imperfections. £1500. is quite a reasonable price but you would expect a good job for that. HTH Vini
