  1. I am not a great follower of fashion although I try to be trendy to a point. Its no good being or looking like a old fogey. But I know what you mean and plimsols are becoming more popular. The trouble is once they are "IN" the price of £5.99 will go up to £59.99 and everyone will buy them then. Funny old world aint it?
  2. I know what you mean Dave and yes you are right. people just dont seem to have the enthusiasm that there was a year or so ago.
  3. Your Avartar says you are in the USA. That'll be why then? they're all over here this month
  4. I voted so leave me alone too.
  5. I have the K6 ABS version of the 650 Bandit and I can honestly say that the front is far from too light. Maybe because its got the fairing? But It certainly isnt like the 600 was. I have trouble getting the front wheel to lift (on the odd occasion that I try :) ).
  6. Yes I must agree that to ride a bike is great. I have been riding now for 32 years and in that time have never been without a bike for more than a year. I have got a Suzuki 650 Bandit K6 now and its a great bike. I really want a GSX1400. but cant afford one right now my 650 isnt as fast as the R6 or any of the sports mid sized bikes but it goes well enough for an old B'strd like me. Please dont get me wrong I am sure you aint an idiot but like what has already been said. the R6 is a bit of an handful to start with. you must consider it this way. One mistake just a little momentary lapse of concentration and you could easily be hurt quite badly. They are an awsome machine. Just be very careful. Good luck and welcome to freedom. A mate once asked me whats the difference between a biker and a motorcyclist? I answered "when a motorcyclist gets off he's bike, he becomes a pedestrain"
  7. thanks mate. sorted. it looks very good and practicle. they dont have loads of boot anyway but you still have a boot. nice. vini
  8. Yeah but TBH honest you dont need to use your 300ZX every day do you? Not with that helicopter on your drive?
  9. you pratt. I thought someone had the answewrs to my dreams then. :smash:  Anyway its not my oven. Its my wifes oven. Got my priorities right mate. Its her oven. Its my car.
  10. So did we find out what it was for?
  11. I have just aquired this little lot 10" 600W Amp. 500W sub. 100W JBL 6x9's and the leads. I need another head unit but thats being sorted soon. Now what I need if possible is a link to or some advice about building something for it all to fit onto and into the boot of my 300ZX please. (maybe a template sort of thing)?? Your help is much appreciated. vini
  12. When man invented the car he put a passenger seat in it for one reason and one reason only.......................For women.  Only joking girls.
  13. With obvious exceptions to the rule, I agree. I have the choice thats my exception. BUT! I dont understand why some people use their pride and joy only for shows. But each to thier own?
  14. ......And there aint many russians there.  (Sorry Phil. Couldnt resist mate)
  15. When I bought my new motorbike I was told this: 1/4 of the rev band for the first 500 miles 1/2 the rev band until 1000 miles (the rev band being up to and not exceeding the red line) after that you can wind it up progressivly each time you ride it. I cant see a high peformance car engine being much different?
  16. There are a lot of members that use their 300ZX as an everyday car. I dont I use my Skyline but thats only to preserve its longevity not because I am worried it might break. TBH I think that a skyline has as much chance of breaking as the 300ZX does. AND I have a company van.
  17. Obviously I dont know but it would seem logical that the russians havent got enough resources to fight a major war and being as half the fookin nation now resides here it would seem that they would only stand a chance if they hit hard and fast. there after they would become a hole in the earths suface? But I could be wrong.
  18. I would rather leave my car at home and take the bus. :p
  19. those front wings are not my cup of tea.

  22. In the USA they are taking VIAGRA eye drops. they say it makes them look hard.
  23. not fond of the yellow bonnet on a white car.
  24. I have suffered with ILS. Irritable leg syndrome for many years and found out that is related to insomnia which I get because of my shifts. Its quite common on the railways. Its also been suggested that is why I may get cramp. Its your muscles doing their own thing while you sleep. I hope its a one off mate.
  25. Fair statement steve. BUT! WTF is a GOM? I know you have been called a few things before but whoever called you that should be shot......?
