No one else was injured or killed bud. I think one passenger on the bus suffered minor cuts to their face but everyone else got out OK. Dave didnt have any passengers in he's car.

There was some speculation as to what had happened. The facts as they are so far is that the road surface was a sheet of black ice Dave lost control and the car slid into the path of an oncoming bus.

No he dosnt have the 300zx anymore I had it back from him on new years day. He was in he's Toyota Soarer 4.0 V8.

I thought it would be news worth posting that the coroners report has been released today and it is confirmed that Dave did in fact die on impact. This isnt good news but comforting to know that he didnt suffer the inferno.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for showing their sympathy I have told Daves family and they are very grateful for your kindness. I am so sad to say the least. Its times like this that you realise just how many untied knots there are and the task ahead seems so long. But when you are involved with these car club forums the support is almost overwhelming and it makes the pain a whole lot less to bear. Thanks very much.

This morning A very good friend of mine was sadly killed in a car accident. Some of you knew him as oldgit. He was the one who bought my 300zx a little while back and gave it back. I am shattered. we have been very good friends for over 22 years and as of october last year we lived next door but one to each other. He has quite a reputation thoughout the japanese car forum clubs and I am sure that many will miss him. Please accept my appologies for bringing bad news to the site but TBH I felt the need to speak about it with my friends. Well IMO if like me you want a techno phone with a really decent camera then the Samsung Pixon or the (LG renoir (that comes with a 8Gb memory card) )are the ones. If you just require a good phone with great camera then The Sony E C905. all these have 8MP cameras. The Tocco (i think its called is by Samsung and my mate has this phone and TBH its a great item but with only 5 MP's. Like he said. With any of these phones and a good memory card installed who needs a digital camera any more? Good point. :cool:

Anyone with enough money can make a 300ZX go super fast but for how long? I am a big fan of Mac1's because he hasnt just thrown money at the car willy nilly he has researched and experimented so IMO when its ready it will last and prove its place. Plus the fact that he is a big bloke........:D:mac1::cool:

I know that I love the car in red so i spose thats my favourite. But I really fancied doing it bayside blue once and I have always had a soft spot for white. Its more a case of which colour do I think is the worst? That I am not going to reveal :cool::tongue:

You go to TOOLS at the top of the internet screen. Then down to OPTIONS. Then clear all files this will delete and clean all the cookies that you have picked up everytime you visit a web page. After that you could try using a decent spyware prog like already suggested. HTH

Not exactly sure about that but I think the side repeaters dont interfere with the circuit like one of the major bulbs. I could be wrong bud. If you take a repeater bulb out do the remainder flash faster? If not thats why???:D

I did my headlamps too. Indicators are slightly different. You see when you are using normal bulbs/lamps they draw on the feed and if one of the bulbs fails then the others in that circuit flash faster as a result. If you use LED's then becuase of the lack of power needed for the LED's the others flash faster as if there was a bulbs out. To overcome this the cheap and easy way is to have a bulb still left in circuit ie inline and out of sight maybe under the bonett. I hope that all makes sense? Basically a row of LED's will not consume the same power as a bulb? :cool: I have lots of resistors that you need and if you wish I will send you a few. NOTE: If you use a resistor at the feed end before the first LED you could wire the others in parallel and that will do keeping the number of resistors down. Otherwise then you will need to fit a resistor to each LED. If you need here is a basic diagram.
