As the speedo is electronic and you say the milage is still clocking up then it sounds more than likely to be the actual unit that the needle fits into. the only real way to fix it would probalbly be to fit a replacement speedo unit. it is quite an easy job to do but like all jobs the first time is the hardest. But its this bit that determins if its KPH or MPH so make sure you get the correct clock.

What style are they Craig? I think that black centres and polished rims look very nice on a redzed. Thats my intended when I can afford to have the fookers done. This is what mine should look like PSP'd of course>>>

Sorry I just had to say this: As you well know john dixon as announced that he is leaving. I thought I understood he's reasons? I have seen the responce and am disgusted. I have never heard so much crap in my whole life. If he wants to go let him. How does this mean this club is going under. There have been more new members over the last few months than ever. (so i have been led to believe) Do any of you really think that the ZClub is any different than here? NO! it aint. I have seen posts by other members for example>>" should I stay or should I go" and that bloke got ripped to pieces for it. John on the other hand got the total opposite. ????? Selective support (thats B0ll0X) why because John can help you and others cant. Thats where the problem lies. There are some members on this site and they are quite visable in Johns thread that dont like change. They dont like us new members invading their space. Well as I have said in that thread I pay my dues and will use the site as i see fit.(to a degree). Again as i said this site has become more than a car club its become a community and I love it here and know I'm not alone.

I think the whole thing has grown out of context. If John has got the hump and wants to go its hes choice. Because he makes a desision it dont mean its the demise of this site does it. Everyone has a choice and me personally I prefer this site to the ZClub but i am a member of both. Get real people there is only a smal number of boffins that dont like anything but car talk. Take a look at the other site. They do exactly the same over there as we do here. I paid my £20 and will use the site as I see fit. You cant stop people haveing a bit of fun. Thats whats spoiling the site. All you boffins that dont like banter always moaning about us that do. My regrets is that most of the longer serving members dont give out enough advice. I have posted quite a few threads asking for advice that seem to have more or less been ignored? No one except John Dixon has mentioned leaving to join the ZClub. just opening new horizons. Have you also taken into consideration that the lack of members starter packs could have been part of the problem? I can only make this final remark. I personally dont know too much about our car. Therefore cant give much advice or help but I CAN give a friendly answer to people who have lost loved ones or are having trouble at home. Do you really want to take that away from someone. NO! I bet not. Its not just a car site anymore its bigger and better than that. Its a community.

You can get an extention piece that you screw onto the end of the valve. just for future reference.
