Well the work took about 2 weeks all in all but it was done over about 5 weeks. I work shifts so didnt get a lot of constant time on it the finishing was the worse bit of all. It takes so much patients. All the advice I could give is that you get what you pay for. If you go cheap you will end up with problems where these cars are concerned. hth vini:cool:

Thanks chaps. I have been in contact with Jurgen and he seems very helpful and nice. As you know I am looking for another car and its really got to be within 10K the lower the better coz it will leave me some to spend on the 300zx and I am thinking about buying this from him~: £6500 seemed steep but apparently the conversion is about 4K alone so maybe not so dear? and if you look its got bonett ties so I am worried that it might be a bodge. Would be nice if when I got the dosh if one of my good forum buddies from that area was to go and see if its worth me coming all the way up to look at?

I agree. It puts me in mind of Mike Ailwood. He died in a car accident in Ausi a good few years back after all them wins at the Isle of man TT.

Iain If I was getting a compo for both my arms mate it wouldnt be enough to do what you have done. :bow::) I have been thinking about having a re trim in leather and some other bling mods but the 350 is soooo attractive at the moment?

No but then I havent tried to tune it up yet by adding bigger injectors and turbos and trying to get loads more power. But If I had the money I probably would? Or then again I might buy a newer version :)

I could always save a few grand and put some really nice mods into the 300 but it always seems to end up in tears with these cars. I do really like my 300zx but how many cars have we seen had grands spent and then they fookin blow up :confused: With the 350Z its a nice modern alternative and like Andy said more a every day car than my 300 and there is not as much chance of an unexpected breakdown. I like to think of it as a technilogical move forward. Anyway it might not happen yet. :):)

I am not as good with computers as you lot are but I have a raid card and I used to run 4 HD's in my computer the raid card held 2 and the motherboard the other 2. Is this the piece of kit you are looking for? If it is you can have my one as it isnt used any more?

I wouldn't be able to afford the Caravan Si after buying this so maybe there is method in the madness??:D
