  9. Me and my misses went out today to look at a few leather suites. We went to the local retail park where there are 5 suitable shops in a row. As you walk through the door they are on you. and then they wont leave you alone have you considered this and that and it makes you feel like walking out the door and forgetting the whole idea. Anyway we put up with this bloke and we found a lovely suite. Right he says. You can have this on a 4 year term at £40 PM or interest free blah blah blah. I said that I didnt want to finance the deal I want to just buy the suite with cash. Oh he said you cant really do that????????? I was so shocked that I thought I had heard him wrong. But no thats exactly what he said. The shop cant take your money. The only way around the problem is they take a 20% deposit (TODAY) and then arrange some way of paying the shop other than paying outright. After all this he tells us that it will take a minimum of 12 weeks to get the suite to us. !2 bloody weeks is a quarter of a year. I basically told him what to do with the thing and left. We looked elsewhere but still havent found anything as good yet :( But we will :)
  10. reading it bcack it dont sound how it did earlier. I am changing companies and to start the new one i must first resign my old one  that is going to happen next week which will leave me some time to meet topless at a mini meet  and do a few other things.:) now you know will you leave me alone :tongue::rofl:
  11. yes mate when are you thinking of? I work mostly 6 nights a week so I dont get too much time to myself but if you want I am going to resign.....probably next week so if all goes well anytime after then. vini

  13. I have got to go out but if someone can be bothered to read through this lot it might clarify the law regarding this issue? http://www.legislation.hmso.gov.uk/si/si1989/Uksi_19891796_en_1.htm
  14. That would be a good idea. I will see if I can find something out. There isnt a great deal of info on the legalaties of lights that I can find on the .gov site
  15. its an old one but it shows it in daylight.
  16. NP mate. as for the legallities all I know is that Audi use them as the sides so there cant be any problems but safe to say that you can always have them as an addition to the existing sides mate? I am thinking I will charge £50 to do the job which will not include postage and if I can get a set before then it will be a fairly quick turn over? I have a stock of new glass bond albeit in black and not grey and as mine were the first any gremlins that I found will be eliminated;) I can also do them to taste as in the amont of leds required I have 11 in each unit but if anyoine wanted something different then that would cost no more but may take a little longer. I obviously dont want to get flooded with work doing these so to be fair I will only take a job on when I know that I can deliver. This will have to wait BTW until I have moved and set up my new workshop in maybe 3-5 weeks time so looking at around mid October. BTW I would like the committee to know I am not going to make money doing this and so therefore wont need to become a trader if thats fine with them and anyone else? The time I have to put into these is about 5 hours each unit and it includes the cost of all the components. thanks vini:D
