very nice GTR. i will say i love driving my GTR but its not the same joy you get with the zed (normal driving) but when you floor it WOW its fast as fook and handles brilliantly, if i'm honest it scares me. yes they look crap on the out side but you can see where all the money went and is another awsome car by nissan

i know a guy he's london way, clarke transmissions he has done 300zx boxes before from what he was telling me he seemed very for prices he will let you get the parts if you like (if your after uprated as i was for my GTR box)

i wouldn't do an engine swop IMO its a big gamble if its a good engine i always wanted to rebuild my zeds engine for the crack and atleast you would know whats been gone . are you mechanically minded that you could do it yourself

the only problem i had with the lumix was the noise, i take my camera to old trafford and under the flood lights my shots were very noisey but apart from that it was very good
