i'm not that keen on the cdi's i think there is to much in them and they look old technology compared to most band A boilers

ideal are made with other manufactures parts used to be alot a biasi, there is alot of boiler makers that build boilers and not make them. which worcester boiler do you use, i really like the juniors they my favorite boiler to install as the jig that you pipe in is second to none, as for halstead there new eden range are very good hardly nothing in the boiler to go wrong and have been very reliable unlike there old boilers

had dealings with main water heaters but not combis

anyone had any dealings with "main eco 25 he" boiler, a freind has aked me to fit one for them and i havent had dealings with them as i use halstead and worcester boilers mainly. are they any good or not, they seem cheap to buy

if your boiler does light when you blow the switch its not faulty

your boiler works by first turning you fan on, then the air pressure switch (diaphram) will click this telling the boiler the fan works, this then will light the boiler. i have had this lots of times on boilers one could be you fan is turning but not fast enough to trigger the pressure switch. with the electric off spin the fan and see it is very free if not dw40 it, if it is this you are looking at a new fan soon. it could also be the air pressure swith is faulty stand by your boiler get someone to turn the boiler on while you listen to the boiler and you should hear it click if you dont its the fan if you do its the switch
