have just been stripping it all out and it wasn't the alarm so i have left it. it has been put in very well and was all the other crap that had been put in the fooked up the wiring there were open ended wires every where from the vien controller, exhaust temp gauge and EBC so i have cut them all out and will replace with new turbo timer had been hacked into the wiring aswell i will see if i can sort it out and put it back in

on my asus board there was two things i have to turn on to make the raid program work i will have a look

thats what they have done but have tried to solder it but the wires are so think it hasn't stuck and it fell off cutting the car out:headvswal

it was an approved installer, i have the certificate too but the mess they have made installing it i dont want them nowhere near my car

after 4 months with the GTR i have found out the main problem why it was cheap, i knew the would be something but i could make alot more breaking it (which i'm not). the thing is a company installed a clifford alarm and have made a real mess of the wiring then bits have been added on like another imobiliser, turbo timer, boost controller a boost gauge and exhaust gauge. the boost controller is HKS ECV III and doesn't work (i think) it doesn't matter how high i set it nothing happens my car boosts to 0.5/0.6 bar which is what the waste gates are set at. then every now and again they all go off ecv and gauges there is a short somewhere (maybe this blew the ecv valve) my battery goes flat at random times can go for weeks and nothing then leave it a few days and get a flat battery. i thinking now about ripping everything out and installing new, new ECV, gauges and alarm (done by a good firm). what do you think. P.S by the way i have been so impressed with the work this car has had done and the engines condition mechanically it puts my zed to shame:bow:

i have 2 raptor drives in raid 0 as i want maxspeed and i never leave anything on my pc that i need, but i have never had a problem with raid 0

i have read that someone has had 3.8ghz out of the Q9550 and i dont think thats the most, intel are back on top ATM

i have been running vista 64bit for about 6 months now, even though i have had it since release but i couldn't get on with it to start with until they sorted the thing out but its been fine since. i know about the driver situation Nvidia were the best, i'm not displeased with Nvidia just thinking of a change as this ATi card is VERY powerful

i have always been an Nvidia fan but have been reading up on these new ATI cards and they are awsome, they are 2 cards on one slot that you could SLI giving 4gb og graphics but i have been told there is no need and SLI hasn't real taken off in games. i was going to have BFG NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 but was told the ATI is better
