Yea again also interested providin on the fittin test.

Yo all, :D One for the techies, :bow: as of yesterday, and wot a day it was my zed as started to miss slightly, only when accellerating hard, when it hits bout 5 to 6 rpm it misses slightly, enough to feel it through the car and hear a slight muffle sound from the exhaust, :confused: it has a decatt and Greddy exhaust, Fmic, and an apexi induction kit, Greddy d/valves on the inner pipes and runnin stock boost... Was thinkin would it be any thing to do with the ecu, not givin enough fuel, sorry if that sounds stupid learnin as i go with these awesome machines... Any ideas :headvswal Cheers, Andy...

Mine was exactly the same, used G6 rubbin compound on it, put a bit on a cloth and some water and scrub a little bit at a time, then rub off, left mine like new. :)

Hi all, :) Have recently put my BOV's onto the inner hard pipes, (which were fabricated by DTA) :dance: , and was wanting 2 know wot vac lines r best to use? As in which ones, wot diameter is best if it makes any diff? Ive currently blanked off the orginal re-cir pipes and vac line's and am using Greddy BOV's if this helps. Cheers, Andy.

Hi all, Was thinkin of gettin this has anyone got a pics of it on their Zed, if poss with a wings west rear bumper fitted. :) Any views on this exhaust, as in sound etc Cheers folks, Andy.

This is where i think prob lies and TBH ive exhausted all other possiblities, both second hand pulleys where not perfect on the neck which meets the cam seal, surely if the mating surface on the neck of the pulley isnt perfect oil will leak through, guess its a case of hunting two good ones, off a low mileage Zed. Wot u think?

The only reason am thinkin aftermarket is due to the standard ones lettin oil through, and there was no sign of any scrapes on any of the mating surfaces,and ive also used OEM parts for the Zed. :)

Interesting, ill check but dont think they where from a 94>, any oher ideas?!?LOL!!

Mines a 1989 TT if that helps. R u sayin that the second hand pulleys i got might of been from a 94>?!?

Hi Smithy, Thought u might pop up, as u know ive had this prob for a while now, ive basically replaced both intake pulleys with second hand ones, and when i started the car there it was oil lines on inside of the bonnet. :( I then read somewhere on how they leak from the press fit seam on the pulley, and that this can be fixed by soldering the seam on the pulley, this time had a friend of mine do it he took his time and made sure all 4 cam seals were replaced and the rocker cover gaskets, he also double checked for any damage done to the end of cams, none found. So started her all was well not one drop of oil on the bonnet, then took her for a 20 min drive, stopped opened bonnet and there it was the two lines of oil on the inside of the bonnet directly above the intake pulleys. :headvswal So for me its basically been a process of elimination, so the only place that oil can be leakin through is where the pulley meets the cam seal/cam, surely if the neck of the pulley, (where the cam seal sits) is not perfect, is it possible this is how oil is still gettin through. :headvswal Im basically guessin now. Also since soldering the puilleys it doesnt leak any oil when startin her, its only after uve been for run and put the engine under load. Andy.

Im sure they do but cant find any sites that do them, and nissan r chargin 500 notes for them new, and thats each!! :shock: Any links people. :)

Hi all, This is a long shot, but does anyone know where u could get aftermarket intake-cam pulleys for the Zed. Ive replaced mine twice with second hand ones and they still leak oil at where the neck of the pulley meets the cam-oil seal. :headvswal Cheers. :)

Yo all, Just bought Greddy BOV from Kirbz, look the part, but how do u fit them :smash: , The BOV's fit onto a flange which is the same dia as the T-piece which joins to the air filter. Do u just cut the hard pipe and fit the flange between the t-piece and the cut hardpipe!?! And then bunge up the remaining hole and attach the vac line to it? Cheers. :)

What about D2 sellin for around 650 on Ebay, was thinkin of these myself, if anyone has any idea wot there like, prob the cheapest ur goin 2 get without goin for seconds!

Yo peeps, :) Does anyone know where u can find HKS, Blitz, Greddy exhausts for the Zed from a uk supplier, dont hear many people on here with big named exhausts, have seen members with single HKS S/dragger, but i would like a twin and also she is a SWB which could make buying a bit diff!! Hi, Had a look on search and couldn't find anything, does anyone have any links on how to put in longer studs on the rear, i need to put on 20mm spacers, i tried the other day and it looks to me that the hub will need to come off any ideas? Cheers.

I found if u take em off when there still warm, gives u just that little bit more flex!!

Mate u r an absolute legend, :bow: :bow: u have no idea how that makes me feel knowin that i can now fix me Zed cheaply and quickly, if u can find that link give me a PM, and deffo think it should be put in the relevant place on this site for future reference!! Cheers again buddy!! :D
