i was thinking more of a fabric like what they cover bass boxes in in black i used vinyl and redone my blue zed, but found you only had to catch somthing small on it and it was damaged not sure it would be good in the boot what glue would you use ,,i used an M3 spray the last time then superglue around the edges and folded it over worked well with no lifting

all been done Dave my car was restored in 2002 drives like new even better with the one piece prop

been out on the drive thinking what i can do next to my zed,,,was thinking of covering all the plastic trim in the boot in black fabric//material not sure whats best to use anyone ever gone down this road before

my house is coverd in model cars must have hundreds of pounds worth

good for you mate ,im also a single parent and have been since my daugther was 18 months old ,shes 13 going on 20 now but still been worth every day, not many fathers get the little ones when it all goes wrong but my hat comes of to you

i had the same thing happen on a iroc z28 i had ,not much fun on the garage floor then i had to wait for parts from the states to get it sorted

i will leave it as is then ive 2 key fobs and they both work ,just wonderd what it did,now i know cheers boys

the last owner got it from scotland ,and never changed the plates ,it came from ardrossan some fella called Andrew Stewart loved it and spent a fortune keeping it serviced and up together

im old sckool and like to keep things as it left the factory on somthings that is lol

its in andover hampshire ,the shows been going for 21 years now all sorts there from classics to up to date ,think mine will be the only zed there tho
