yeah my drivers one sits alittle proud but you get what you pay for , as i was way of price wise for the oem 99 specs im happy with them but will get a new set when ive done more over time, yeah i sealed them all up plus used the foam surrounds that come with them ,i used sealant we use at work and its for sealing lab windows so nothing gets by it and its easy to remove so its a winner

i think the lights have been off before, one of the last owners sealed them with some sort of black shit that didn't go hard but was waterproof i used 2 kitchen rolls and white sprit then t cut then autogleam to bring it up nice ,was glad there was no rust ,,places like that never really see the light of day and the water loves to sit there for days

At last i got new lights new centre panel and crystal rears ,,esay job until i had to remove the black sealant took me over an hour was happy to find no rust at all and it cleaned up like new[/img] [/img] [/img][/img]

yeah jeff and jamie are tops i know a bit about zeds but made me look silly lol they sorted mine and was worth every penny i spent there

we just all going to turn up or we pre booking tickets ,,as they say they can't park us together ,,we all should meet up then drive there ,,theres a nice little pub 2 mins from there could meet in the car park

im up for that put my name down was there last month for the auto jumble ,not far from me

cheers boys will have a think about it and see what cash i have left ,,ive got a new centre 99 spec panel on its way and as mines a uk ive got new side blanks and new fogs and indicators ,,might go for the cheaper ones then save for the oem ones at a later date mines white and have seen them on another and look good think it depends on the colour will post some pics when ive fitted them all

so ive saved all my over time money and now is the time to replace all my lights on my zed with up to date 99 spec ones and new crisp looking lenses not sure about crystal rears yet they look good on white and there alot cheaper then the oem rear lights ,anyone got any comments about this be glad to hear

can anyone tell me why the uk spec cars have standerd wider wheels but the jap spec ones dont ?

if you take the screw out you will be able to see if its a fresh drill in the cross member as ive been in engineering for alot of years you can tell if its fresh or not, even if its been sitting for a month,,my uk zed has been to the not mentioned specialist and i got first class service and still runs like the day it left the factory but i do understand your frustration

i see a set of them wheels on a white zed in the states i thought they looked great ,anyway i was in the capri gang to many moons ago this was one of mine

shouldnt have to put vents in they run hot but they like it,, mine sits in this heat in traffic just fine temp gauge never moves

agreed mate i still get stopped in tescos and asked what car it is

nice zed danny, are the after market rear lights you have as good fit as the oem 99spec lights thinking of getting some ?

Anyone ever taken there zed to wilton house classic and super car show near sailsbury was thinking about looking into it but dont want to be the only zed there.
