  1. I'm sure that the low prices have come about because buyers are so shit scared of buying a lemon that will cost a fortune to put right. As our cars get older, this fear is becoming more of an issue. This is why you can make so much more money by breaking a car these days than by selling it as a runner :( Steve :)
  2. Fookin hell Jay! We were only talking about this last weekend and it's gone already :( No worries tho bud! Hope to still see you at some meets next year... Catch you soon CheerZ Steve :) *EDIT* Just taken her out for the first time in nearly 4 months ;) Woohoo!

  6. Don't think they should be removed unless 100% necessary bud! Heard of too many owners having to buy new clocks after doing this :( What's the reason for removal? Steve :)
  7. I had this - rattle on startup that went when warmed up. As said above, it was a disintegrating exhaust heat shield... Steve :)
  8. Some great ideas so far guys - keep 'em coming! :D Steve :)
  9. JWT out of the two every time - Superchips are poo IMHO :smw: Steve :)

  15. I think the full kit now retails at just under £20 Steve :)
  16. I've had some great results with it - sponge does get dirty quickly though! Don't see a problem with giving it a rinse when you're wiping the car down - the crucial stage it the final rinse IMO Steve :)
  17. Moved to "Membership and club enquiries". You will need to post up your full name and method of payment so Andy knows what to look for bud ;) HTH Steve :)
  18. Big improvement - good call :D Steve :)
  19. Thanks to all who could make this! As above, small attendance but great weather, food and company. Nice to meet Konrad and bad luck to those who couldn't make it - next time though :D Big thanks to Jock  for running me there and back in his Soop after my bro in law's autobox died :( and for recovering the car home and getting it back up my drive (Zeds are too heavy!) Just finished putting it back on now bud - car's looking good again and will be on the road tomorrow if the weather's dry. Will post up some pics of the meet later! CheerZ Steve :)

  23. Not spoken to Paul yet bud! I'm up early tomorrow to get my car ready but should be leaving my place at about 11:40. Give my a buzz if you (or Paul)want to head over to mine... See you tomorrow! :D Steve :)
  24. No it's a common problem with axle stands :( I always use a couple of blocks of wood on top of the stands so when the car is lowered onto them, they push into the wood making a nice secure base. Also saves damage to the underside of the car as well ;) Steve :)
