SE Box Hill to Brighton Run - 20 August 2006
Big thanks to everyone who turned up today and made this a great meet  As always nice to see some regular members and their passengers and of course a couple of new faces as well Weather could have been better but we avoided the worst of it. Commiserations to Jason and Jeremy for getting a tug from the old bill before we'd even left the Box Hill car park (see above post) :( Congrats to Paul C for doing a runner before he got summoned  Thanks to Sussex Stu for leading the way down to Brighton in his plumber's van (and overtaking us all at one point :D ). I know he was supposed to be heading home to Worthing, but he came down to Brighton and joined us for a bevvie at the Marina anyway :duffer: Hope to see you in your Zed at a meet soon bud  Huge personal thanks to Mark W for being my chauffeur for the day and running me back home afterwards  Once again, good to see club spirit alive and well :D Pics and vids to be posted later ;) CheerZ Steve :)

LOL - he was a vindictive tw@t though :xxx: One of 'em wasn't even too small, he was done for having a watermark type logo on the background which you can barely see from more than 20ft way  Were you there on a bike fella? Steve :)

SE Box Hill to Brighton Run - 20 August 2006
Not sure what we're doing for lunch - I've never really factored this in to a Box Hill to Brighton run. There is a Harvester on the A23 as you come into Brighton. There are also numerous pubs and restaurants at Brighton Marina which is 5 mins from where we'll be meeting up. Parking here is free but the spaces in the car park aren't very big :headvswal We'll take a straw poll when we get down there.. CheerZ Steve :)

You'll need a sump gasket and possibly a replacement strainer depending on how much crap is in there. I got mine from Mike @ MJP Steve :)

Cant select any gear help!!
Might be worth bleeding the system to make sure you've not got any trapped air. Would recommend the bleed nipple under the bonnet on the driver's side wing. Loosen the nipple and get someone to pump the clutch. When fluid starts to flow from the nipple, it should have expelled any air. If it's not the above, the pedal may need adjusting HTH Steve :)

Got to say I agree with DG's actions. Part of me still wishes I'd had a go when I had my car damaged a couple of months ago. :( Glad the scum got what was coming to him. If these people realised that there are consequences for their actions, they'd think twice about fooking with other people's property Steve :)

just removed gearbox sump
The strainer is the odd shaped silver jobbie held in with 3 bolts. Take the strainer out and you'll be able to see the contents Here's a pic of my bro-in-law's which was badly blocked ... HTH Steve :)

Race Logic Traction Control
The following systems are suitable for the Zed... RLTC6A - analogue controller system with adjustable slip RLTC6AL - analogue controller system with adjustable slip and launch control RLTC6DIA - digital controller with adjustable slip and launch control Launch control will only work on manual cars. Note that you must have ABS in your car for the above systems to operate. If you do not have ABS installed and operational, you will need a set of wheel speed sensors (TCWSSSET). Be aware that I should be doing a RLTC group buy in September. I'll keep you posted. I can carry out installation and supply the above. Let me know if this is of interest to you or if you have any questions. CheerZ Steve :)

IMO Nissan put it there for a reason and it does help to channel the air through the rad. Keep it! I've got one in the garage which I'm about to prep and paint for mine ;) Steve :)
