  1. Mmmm.. not really. It's unlikely to be firewall settings. It just means that the image source is unavailable. Have you got any particular images you're having problems with. If you post up the URL, I'll try it and we can compare results... Steve :)
  2. Right click on the cross and check the properties. If the image source is on rides.300zx.co.uk, it means that the member hasn't updated their sig since the old rides sections was take off line.. Steve :)
  3. I just got one a couple of months ago and did alot of research into the available options. I ended up going for a Panasonic NV-GS150. Great bit of kit and got some top reviews. I think I paid about £550 for it. Takes very good video and stills as well (with an SD card). I looked at the Sony DVD cameras, but was put off by the media (30 mins, use once and about £7 a shot). A friend of mine has one and he's really pleased with it... HTH Steve :)
  4. The Local Settings folder is hidden by default Danny. From My Computer choose Tools, Folder Options, View and select the Show Hidden Files and Folders option. To import the .PST files, copy them to your hard disk first. If you try to import from CD, you will get the Access Denied message HTH Steve :)
  5. Looks great Mickey. But get some tyre dressing on that rubber - it's looking a bit grey next to your shiny new paint job ;) Steve :)
  6. I think it's just the bottle bud. I'll have a proper look to check and then confirm. I'm not going to JAE this year (on honeymoon  ) but I'll ask if someone local to me can collect on my behalf and pay you the dosh... I'll come back to you when I've checked it! CheerZ Steve :)
  7. I've used these utilities on non bootable systems to recover/replace/copy files from an NTFS volume. HTH Steve :) * EDIT * What are the exact symptoms on startup?
  8. I think that was probably me at Jap Show Chris ;) Let me know how you want to do it bud... CheerZ Steve :)
  9. Are you sure it wasn't later than that Richard? I was heading that way in heavy traffic at about 5pm (grey, L reg). Steve :)
  10. I got my trickle charger from Halfords and it worked fine. It only masked the discharge problem and didn't solve it of course  Turned out to be a loose connection on the negative battery terminal... Steve :)
  11. I thought it was AdamR  Steve :)
  12. LOL - you even got my laptop in the shot! Bugger :D Steve :)
  13. LOL - don't worry Paul, I've just bought Karlos' cammo gear... Steve :)
  14. Agree with Danny 100%. When I changed my ECU, I overtightened the connector and had a couple of intermittent problems until I realised :( Drop me a line if you need any help Paul - I sold my series 1 PTU last year but may be able to get hold of a spare... May also be able to help with an ECU swap. CheerZ Steve :)
  15. Paul, your Medal of Honour skills will be more than enough bud ;) Hopefully looking to organise this over the summer (holidays permitting). We'll see how much interest we can drum up first... CheerZ Steve :)
  16. Put me down for whatever comes of this! CheerZ Steve :)
  17. Thanks for the replies fellas. I will be in touch by PM CheerZ Steve :)
  18. I'll call you later bud ;) Steve :)
  19. I fooking hate spiders but watched the vid anyway. Poor little bugger :( I still hate spiders :D Steve :)
  20. It's all end user support Ben and they are fairly clued up. Most of the phone stuff is straight forward "Log out the users and restart the server" sort of stuff. I'll have my laptop and PCAnywhere with me to sort out any biggies. I really need a first line point of contact to give my customers (and me :D ) some reassurance. Steve :)
  21. I know that we are awash with IT people on here so I thought I'd give this a try. As many of you know, I'm off on honeymoon on 23 July for a 2 week break. Unfortunately, I no longer have any employees to hold the fort while I'm away :( I'm looking for someone who can provide minor telephone support to my 4 contract customers whilst I'm away. Good support knowledge of the following is essential... Windows 2000 Server Exchange Server 2000 Veritas Backup Exec Windows XP Pro Windows 2000 Windows 98  MS Office 2000 Pro I will be available on my mobile whilst away, but because of the time difference I don't want to be on call in the middle of the night. If anyone can offer their services (chargeable of course) then I'll be happy to answer any questions you have. It's very likely that there won't be any problems at all, but for my peace of mind, it would be great to have someone here as a backup just in case. I'm a firm believer in sod's law  Please PM me or reply to this thread if you might be able to help.. CheerZ Steve :)
  22. BTT - come on peeps, I thought there'd be loads of interest in this :( Steve :)
  23. Ooops! Sorry Stuart - I've done you a disservice! :slap: :x: :D Steve :)
  24. So very, very sorry to hear this trajic news Kenny. My thoughts are with you and your children. Steve
  25. Sorry guys - I've only just got home after a disasterous day  Still not finished the job and have to go back there tonight :( At least I'm getting paid for it ;) Apologies for not being able to make this meet - hope that those that attended had a good one! Please see the paintball thread if you've not already had a look! CheerZ Steve :)
