  1. Cool, time to strip that interior out isn't it Bob?:thumbup1:
  2. If you sell it now and buy another later you will only end up with other problems that will cost you money, never heard anyone buy a Z and not have to do something to it so you're no better off in the long run. You don't actually need the manual box and if you can do it yourself you can save a few quid
  3. Im in the process of putting my Z back to standard and am wondering what peoples views are on the standard recirc dump valves? I have these hard pipes going to the throttle bodies that had injectors plumbed in. Im unsure whether aftermarket ones can be fitted to these or do they normally come with a mounting flange you tig to the pipe yourself? How does the plumbing work on recircs, all I know is there is a pipe about an inch diameter blocked off coming from my intercooler to throttle body pipe. I need an education on this please....
  4. Thanks, i've wondered that for years but never asked
  5. How did you work out which thickness gasket you needed Mark? Hypothetical question: you had an engine and had no idea if the heads/block had anything off before your ownership, how would you go about finding the correct thickness gasket to get the right compression ratio?
  6. That's pretty daring of you and came up awesome, fair play
  7. Im confused, where on the engine is that top photo looking at? Is all that metal in the hole overcast?!?
  8. 750cc injectors should be ample for 600bhp Mark,I think the cc rating is the the amount of fuel the injectors will flow for the same bhp give or take a bit. DeatschWerks injectors are frequently recommended as being reliable, closely matched and flow what the rate they should. You will have to look into whether those particular injectors require any modifications/adaptors to fit the fuel rail or whether you are better off getting a new fuel rail as well. What is the standard crank good for power/torque wise?
  9. Has it actually changed the amount of road noise you hear?
  10. I was wondering that. Might as well go for the biggest ones available Mark...... Are they any more expensive? Stock size and a bit bigger were the same last time I looked
  11. Ridiculous. How many times have you done it?
  12. Order a PCV delete kit to block the PCV holes in the plenum when you put your order in. Then you need to vent the crankcase breathers externally which i've seen done in a few different ways. Read this one the other day http://z32.wikispaces.com/PCV+Delete Other people have fed a couple of pipes to a oil catch tank then dropped the exit pipe to the floor. I've also seen every breather piped together with silicon hoses then run out the back of the car. Having it vent in or under the engine bay can cause smells when you're stationary so better to run a pipe back.
  13. You're going to want bigger than 87mm pistons with the rebore mate. If yours are currently standard get 0.5 mm bigger and give the block to the machine shop with the pistons when they arrange and they will match them accordingly. Not fancy a PCV delete while it's out and save a few quid?
  14. Very nice mate, can you show us the interior? Are your wheels chromed or powder coated chrome?
  15. Were the intercoolers definately clean when you last put it back together?
  16. You'd want to chuck a set of Eagle rods in there as well surely Mark..... Have you seen the rebuild kits from Z1 and conceptz?
  17. That was brilliant, the first load i looked through had me in stitches:laugh:
  18. +1 I think you should do a group lesson for all the locals Ryan  What time you going on Friday? Give me a shout:xxxxxxxxx
  19. Yep it's a SWB, i'll try and have it on the road by the time you get yours. Email me at xxxxx then post to say you have it and i'll delete it unless a mod beats me to it. What RS does he have?
  20. Let me know when and i'll let you know if im about as not 100% sure of dates but got to come back for a few things in the next month. I'll give you a lift up if im back. I'll send you my number when you subscribe :thumbup1:

  23. I just got 1.78 and 0.51 on that site then tried bandwidthplace.com and got virtually the same
  24. I use Microsoft Paint or a free program called Ifran View to resize my pics. Ifran View is better but Paint should be on your computer already as part of Windows
  25. Have you tried contacting Dave from here directly? Seems to be a common problem when you phone but he can sort it out for you. Termsure gave me a very good quote for a modified vehicle.
