  1. :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal EH????:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal Been here before bud, im not a trader and IM NOT TRADING!!! if you read my post youl see im simply asking a question as to how much my light panel is worth as ive been told by a friend they can fetch a bit, asking this does in no way mean or insinuate i want to or am trying to sell the thing!!! thanks davie
  2. as said buddy preassurised the induction/charge system and all is good with no leaks ta davie
  3. as above, ive heard there quite rare and i have one, just wondering how much there worth. cheers davie
  4. yup all connectors in place buddy as i said before for the first couple of weeks the car ran perfect standard boost then it fell away. cheers davie
  5. boost controller hasnt been connected to the car since i dropped the replacement engine buddy so its standard boost set up, only mods are chipped ecu, dump valves and air filter and exhaust. cheers davie
  6. your diagram shows the right side cylinder head, the two pulleys you see are 1 inlet (with vvt) and 1 exhaust, on the left head you have the same so the answer to your question is yes, vvt on both left and right inlet cams.
  7. HIYA PEEPS!!! well thought id try a post on here as im getting no where. i have a 92 manual TT slicktop (the silver fifth gear one) which i just replaced the engine in, after replacing the engine all was great for a couple of weeks then the boost dropped to 0.6bar where it has stubbornly stayed regardless of my efforts to rectify! ive had some pointers off the guys at zed world but were running out of checks as ive covered most now and im probably doing there head in by now  and up here in scotland im just a tad to far to go visit them unfortunately, heres a list of things ive checked and ruled out, if anyone has any ideas then lets hear em. much appreciated. done diag test and check light flashed a code 55 (no fault found), carried out boost leak check using leak tester (preasurising hoses) and all is good, checked all vacum/solinoid hoses for condition and security and to make sure there in the right places and all is good. ran engine with turbo/induction pipes and maf disconnected and both turbos are producing charge so no siezed turbo, have removed catalitic converters as one was partialy blocked so exhaust should be breathing fine with no obstructions, blanked of brake servo and clutch booster lines incase of possible boost leaks in these areas, all fine. car runs/drives faultlessly apart from the boost issue. any suggestions welcome and thanks in advance davie
  8. 11. yea, bought a second hand engine from an engine supplier in manchester which when delivered had a smashed oil pump and badly dended sump as it had obviously been dropped!! anyhow the proceeded to piss me about until yesterday when another unit arrived so fingers crossed its a good un
  12. well to me its been a mapping/feulling issue as the compression droped to around 100psi across the 3 cylinders on that bank which has in turn caused accessive crankcase preasure, forcing oil up the breathers, past the pcv valves and a look of horror on my face when i noticed the blue smoke pumeling from the exhausts lol
  13. the silver zed that was on fifth gear.
  14. and a replacement engine is sitting on the garage floor to be fitted when i can work up the enthusiasm to get the finger out and get stuck in!
  15. THATS MY CAR!!!!!! and right now its sitting in my drive with the piston rings done in on the left hand bank lol! only got the bloody thing a few weeks ago lol!!!!!!
  16. hi peeps, small question. i know when pcv valves are knackerd it can cause oil leaks from hoses and dipstick pop out ect but when the pcv valves jam closed, is it possible for the dipstick to pop out followed by engine oil pi*sing out of the dipstick hole? thanks davie
