  1. Dunno why people are assuming there will be any rot just because it's a uk, yes theres a higher chance of it but it's certainly not definate, the sills on the uk sandy just broke were solid.
  2. Well I always thought a really good standard (not rotten and never welded ,average mileage) TT manual would fetch up to 4k, so does the recent engine rebuild and strosek kit justify 2k? As long as the workmanship is spot on then I'd say it does......easily, especially when you think of the figures to fit the kit paint ect and rebuild the engine. Suppose it depends on how bad the buyer wants a widebody, Sandy stop looking at LWB's and get a slicky :) My 2p worth :)

  7. I have these lights on my slicktop, i and everyone who has seen them in the flesh (or plastic :) ) reckons they look alot better and give the zeds rear a more modern touch, when you fit one its makes the standard cluster bland as hell!
  8. sikaflex (black tube) is a polyeurethane windscreen bond and sets as hard rubber, ive used it in loads of applications bonding all different materials and its never let me down, defo not easy to get back off tho!

  11. hi peeps, firstly does the zeds cc work well? I have a breaker and am thinking about wipping out all the cc stuff to stick it in my slicky, does the cc wiring run into the main loom or is it seperate? Is there a seperate controll unit for it or is it?

EXACTLY!!!!! ive had Honda drivers telling me that in there opinion having a turbo/supercharger is kind of cheating because its not NATURALY aspirated power, its power caused by forced induction, NOS? turbo/supercharger? all ways of increasing power by modifying induction manor and temp, as long as your method of achieving your desired gains is safe and reliable then i dont see why it would matter how you got there and of course the power should be counted as the cars producing it!

  20. I used conzult to set the base idle (no need to disconnect the yellow plug). base idle and all the other stuff ive mentioned is set properly, the issue is that the ecu is running idle high (aprox 975 rpm).
  21. Temp sender has now been replaced and its made no difference :angry: any ideas peeps im thinking those A.I.V's need chucked in the bin next and get rid of all the unnesesary piping ect.
