i have a m8 that can make the vinyls for me but need a pic to go from

check all your PTU, coil and injector plugs for green/white gunk this would give u missfires if corroded Mark

i had a go with a Evo 9 RA one that supposed to have around 450ish bhp he was just keeping up till about 120 and kinda left him from there and i wasnt running full boost too Well plz'd

when u fit the filter make sure you reset the ECU .. Unplug the batt for 30 mins ..

Harby is it Petrol or Deisel .. ? as Deisel cars dont need to have a Cat Fitted for MOT .. as its only a smoke test

just get a Piper-X or K&N Pannel Filter not induction as the cats you can get a sports exhaust system with sports cats fitted for around £400 Stainless steel normaly there are a few places like LongLife/Topgear that do custom built ones to what sound/looks you want on them

i have had a dabble at tuning/remapping my self and on my cars Stay clear of tuning box's .......... on a gen 1or2 remap your gains are around 10>15% for petrol and for deisel its around 30>60% but remember this all depends on any mods on the car as well Air Filter, Decat and Exhaust system is a must if you want to gain the max out of a remap i had mine done by R-Tech in Hinkley and are all 100% Custom Remaps not generic ones Celtic Tuning are very good but make sure you only pay around 150>250 as thats the going rate Mark

i did mine by taking the elbow off ...

dont replace it untill u checked it .. Just unplug it from the loom and then test drive .. remember u have one on each side of the engine Mark

yes it was ... the O2 sensor went bad and was confusing the ECU and making it Missfire ... unpluged it was fine .. put a new one in and working fine still Regardless of the Post above if the O2 Sensor goes wrong and is ( open circit ) 90% of the time it does this wouldnt effect the ecu .. but other short out and give the wrong signel to the ecu .. miss fire was only there when engine got warm never from starting for about 5 mins Mark
