Trouble is i now earn a reasonable wage and have 2 kids etc. Giving it up to earn less ( albeit till for a period of time ) isnt really an option. maybe in the next few years but not now.

Just a quick question on Skyline gtr parts, Which parts are interchangeable with 300zx parts? I know brakes can be used, but what about suspension, turbo's etc?? Also by this i mean to upgrade rather than like for like. Cheers in advance

Quick question, has anyone removed the ABS on there zed?? if so has it caused any problems? Also can anyone confirm that the rear brake pipes enter into the rear floor section for the abs pump only?? or is there another reason they are tucked up behind rear subframe?? cheers in advance

Im lucky enough to work in the motor trade and as such have a few friends who each are superb at various things ( engine work, suspension set-up, bodywork ). Plus i work in parts so can track the bits i need down fairly easily and usually cheap enough, though this will be my first venture into the jap world been mainly VAG till now.

Tbh it would be more of a track car than drift ( although i will do a bit of drifting). My local track is Knockhill. Just from looking at the car i can see there is plenty of weight to drop of it ( plus i have been known to get a bit crazy with the grinder ). And to be fair the car is silly cheap to start with, plus it's good to be different. Up at KH there are tons of corsa's ( C20LET ), Evo's and Scoobies etc. Think i will wait till i have the car here, then start getting the car the way i want.

Hi, Just about to buy myself a 300zx TT manual and ideally i want to Drift/Track it ( aswell as have it on the road ). Now iv done a few searches and i know they can have problems with oil starvation and also cooling issues. Now the question is what can be done about it?? Would a baffled sump be enough? Also i plan to ditch as much from the engine bay as possible, As it stands i will be ditching AIV, EGR, A/C, HICAS. Is there anything else that can be ditched? I do plan on still having this taxed and tested. Cheers in advance

Ok, the car has headlight washer in the bumpers and the clocks are in mph.

How would i know if its a jap import? Also the car is known to a local garage ( he is a very good customer of my work and i have known him for a good number of years). He has replaced inner and outer sills, shocks and springs all round, discs and pads all round in the last few months. He has also vouched for the fact the vehicle has been of the road for most of its life.

Hi, bit of a newbie to the whole 300zx scene so that i would ask the question before i jump in. I have seen a Red 1992 300zx Twin Turbo Manual with 49k on it. I presume it to be a LWB ( it has rear seats ) ?? It also has the 2 glass roof panels ( removable?? ). Now the car is in very good condition, Unsure if it has history present. It also has what appear to be 18'' split rims and new stainless steel exhaust. I will obviously find out more about the car but just as a rough guide what would you guys reckon this is worth??
