CAS timing
Hi guys and girls i have been searching on here in regards to setting up my timinig but cant find an answer for my question. I checked my timing today and found it to be at 13/14 tdc however when i tried to adjust it the cas unit does not seem to turn either way? Also can you adjust the cas/timing with the engine running? i was turning off and trying to adjust it to be on the safe side. Im using a timinig light and jeffs write up but its not clear if you adjust the timing with the engine running or not. if it is meant to be running will this be why the cas unit does not move with the engine off? Thanks

Advice please on this rotary polisher.
Im still pretty new to detailing but have been valeting for a while now. I have clayed a few cars and never had a problem as long as you use a lot of lube hence why i went for the sonus as i can use soapy water. I went for this... http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/sonus-ultra-fine-detailing-clay-pkg/2/prod_37.html .....as i have done a few so im happy just to use soapy water. But yes it is a really good clay bar and the link you put up would be a good starting point just use plenty of lube and like you said before have a go on your van/old body panal to get confident using the products

oh no! your hooked! lol I have a sonus clay bar as these work with a soapy water so no need to keep buying a lube. I Have a pot of finish kare 1000p sealent which i was really impressed with and good on wheels to. Im thinking about getting meg's #7 glaze and have just bought Autoglym HD wax which ill be trying tomorrow. Ill be doing a full detail on my zed soon and be doing a load of photos

HID Kit
No not so i was speaking to the ministry the other day while we was having an MOT inspection and he told me that the new laws will only apply to new cars or cars registered after april 2012. All cars pre april 2012 are fine but if they have head light washers fitted they need to be working

I thought the zed was bad on fuel........
......... But it has just cost £60 to do 45 miles in a transit minibus! Mind you £45 worth of it is either under the bus or on the m4.
