  4. Hi all Trying to sort out boost issues, not long had my car back its been off the rd some time...... 1st ecu test got code 13 cleaned the terminals & then got code 55 But the boost is still 7psi ( have aftermarket gauge ) checked for leaks & noticed a couple of the pipes had splits in them, Znut is sorting me out with a good set until i upgrade. But i tried to temp repair them with gaffer tape, but still 7psi So my question is is the gaffer tape ok for a very temp repair, or should i wait until i put on the new pipes to get a satisfactory test. Or can i still be in safety boost even though code 55

  14. I just copied & pasted this from aol news, it seems this government is disregarding 1.8million signitures !! A draft Bill which paves the way for road pricing schemes and for measures to improve bus services will be introduced by the Government on Tuesday. The Bill will make it possible for local authorities to develop charging systems if they wish. It lays down the ground rules for the pilot schemes that will precede any wider introduction of road pricing. But there will be no announcement about which areas will be running trials, nor will any details be given of technology that could be used. Related LinksHM Treasury Have Your SayJoin the UK news debate on our message boards The Bill is being introduced despite around 1.8 million people signing a House of Commons website petition expressing opposition to road charging. Liberal Democrat transport spokesman Alistair Carmichael said on Tuesday: "The Government must be open and honest with people about its intentions to push forward with road pricing. They must commit to a system which does not mean motorists as a whole paying more, but just paying differently. "If the public feel that road user pricing is just another cash cow for the Treasury, then it will meet stiff resistance and a real opportunity to reduce congestion will be missed." The Bill will enhance powers for local authorities who are considering road pricing and will ensure that appropriate powers are in place to make sure any schemes are consistent and interoperable. Both politicians and technical experts believe it will be 10 years before widespread road pricing can be introduced. But Federation of Small Businesses transport chairman Steve Collie said that despite road taxes raising £45 billion each year only £7 billion is reinvested in the roads and suggested "instead of creating more tolls and more laws, the Government should be enforcing current rules and spending more on the transport network."
