Sounds like your in safety boost, have you done an ECU test ?

Looks like the vacuum line, where an aftermarket boost gauge could be plumbed in.

Yes deffo right sensor the one with yellow cap at front of engine, Its the viscous fan thats on all the time & this is normal Im running out of WD40 & cant find the leak... :cry: lol With high rpm im thinking its a leak, but i been looking for hours....

Yes its the the viscous fan thats on, i thought that was normal, Yes BSCV are connected Yes its an aftermarket gauge, & max boost is 7psi maybe 7.5psi max every time yes :confused: :confused: :confused:

Thanks 4 the advice, I have changed the temp sensor already, Did the fan stop running when you cleaned temp sensor or when you by passed det sensor ?

My Z will not go into extended boost 9.5psi It stay it standard boost 7psi Temp plug replaced , ecu code 55 cant find any obvious leaks.. My viscous fan is always on, i believe this to be normal But it idles at 900/1000rpm which seems high to me? :confused: what should it idle at ? Has anyone got a pic of the BSCV connections, i believe mine 2b connected, will be nice 2c im looking in the right place ..... ;) Im stuck guys any advice welcome

Update: Eractic idle resolved as temp switch replaced. But 7.5psi max code 55 all clear & fan on always idles at 1000rpm

Also she idles at 1000rpm & today i noticed while changing gear she went to 2000rpm............... :confused: That makes me think its a boost leak .... but i cant find it :headvswal looking 2c if i can borrow/use consult datascan from someone.... thanks 4 ur imput

Tried a different temp sensor got code 13 again !! Cleaned all the shit off terminals got code 55 still only boosting 7psi maybe 7.5psi took battery off & neg off pressed brake pedal also left an hour still boosting 7.5psi Question is WTF is wrong LOL ... :p Is it boost leak ?? or ECU or maybe other ?? Has anyone nearby got a consult nearby?? come on you Welsh lot... ;)

First of all check the 4 large pipes with jubilee clips these tend to split or the jubilee clips may be loose
