Del, its a nightmare mate. I have been in the same situation years ago when my youngest was a toddler. I have never claimed a penny in my life but really wanted too as my next door neighbour was a right lazy ****, never worked in his life, was claiming everything under the sun and had a brand new mobility car too! I really wondered why I bothered as it wasnt worth me and my wife both working as we had to pay out loads on childminders/pre school nursery etc. This country doesnt help the working families at all mate unfortunately :(
