Best place to advertise the Z ?
As some of you may have noticed, Reluctantly I have my Zed FS. As enthusiast forums FS threads have turned a blank, I may have to advertise to the riff raff err ... general public :pinch: Were would be the best place without attracting too many timewasters and tyre kickers ? I'm thinking: PH - would be full of dreamers. Ebay - unsure of fees for selling a car, imagine it costs a bomb, anyone know the actual costs ? (and also a lot of timewasters I imagine). Autotrader and hope for not too many daydreamers seems the safest bet. Anyone have any input or other suggestions ?

Renewed
I used the button on the site link, so presumably its all tied to my forum user name, or do I need to PM ck300z with transaction ID ?

Insurance
I don't know how you guys do it :surrender: My renewal from lynbrook was £418 I am in a low risk postcode area, in my mid forties with a clean licence and driving record. The Zed is JDM N/A SWB, insured as a second car. Private driveway parked, limited mileage, Insurance approved immobilizer, aftermarket wheels declared etc et. Footman James quoted me £455, but rang back later and got it to £388. Still a bit steep for me atm, I could try Flux, but they were ridiculous last year, so kinda stuck atm :confused1:

front tyre advice.
^^ Wot he said :D Your front rim width should be between 7.5" and 9" for 225 to keep in spec. Most fronts are generally 8" or 8.5", but not always, so check if you don't know what yours are.

Air con regas ?
If there was a sticker, its long since departed I think, that or I am not looking in the right place ;) I will get it looked at next year, can't see me needing it anymore this year :p

Nice, and some great offsets if I recall right, sit real good on the car :)

Price of zeds...
I think they are still all over the place tbh, look on autotrader, there is a admittedly nice looking allegedly ultra low mileage N/A auto G reg with the early cloth seats, nearly 6K ! There is also a 97 plate TT manual that sounds good for £3500. Its a double edged sword really, as owners we would like them to be worth more. I don't understand why a similar aged/condition supra seems to fetch more money, despite not looking as grown up IMO (not that I have anything against supra's, just prefer the Z looks). But If they were, then I wouldn't have been able to own one ... I still think they are a future classic and hopefully they will start to appreciate in value soon.

Which is the glossiest polish?
Done ;) In the media section ...

Who supplies the best Broadband ?
Sky for a tenner pm, not too bad, but does depend on how far from the exchange you are, as its on copper cable ! I'm about 1/2-3/4 mile away from the exchange.

Which is the glossiest polish?
On Peach's reccomendation I have just got a tub of Collinite 476s. Yet to try it as I have only clayed and machine buffed the roof/bonnet and one rear wing so far. They are wearing meguires carnuba atm, but that doesn't last long so once I have the whole car buffed its gettting a couple of coats of the Collinite :)

wipers and trim
As above, remove, sand and respray (satin black in my case) and they look a treat, I also replaced the rubbers/blades with bosch aero's. Scuttle panels are next on my list, find some complete unbroken ones when I have the cash, and respray satin black is the plan ! Before and after:

Measuring wheel bore
I believe most wolfrace are 72.6, a tape measure (used from the 100mm mark not the end ;)) should be enough to establish if thats correct, or if you feel flash these look a bargain: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6Inch-150mm-Digital-LCD-Caliper-Micrometer-Vernier-Tool-/280730322189?pt=UK_Measuring_Tools_Levels&hash=item415cd4c50d I haven't used that supplier so cant comment on them, just thought it was a good price ! These should be right if the above is correct http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-72-6-OUTER-SPIGOT-RINGS-PEUGEOT-207-/180514568834?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item2a0781ba82 Again, I haven't used these either ! I got mine from spigotringsrus on ebay, but they don't appear to do Pug fitting. Obviously double check first, I am not accountable for any errors :p :D

Final push for JAE!!

Air con regas ?
Thanks Paul C, I'll pull the caps and look soon ... if its R12 is it an expensive job to get converted ? **EDIT** A bit of googling leads me to believe an R12 system can be refilled directly with R49L instead, I presume most specialist auto air con places can do this ?
-
Air con regas ?
Thanks Tudor, yep light green plastic caps still in place, uppermost one marked H lower one marked L, so the refil one (L) is the one furthest away  .... just need to determine what refrigerant I have now !
-
Air con regas ?
I understood that a re-gas on a Z32 will need some extra work to run on the newer type gas, but I also read the new gas should be in vehicles post 1994 .... so would my JDM 95 model just need a straight recharge or a complete overhaul ? Is it easy to access ? (ok maybe thats optimistic :p)

how to fix the cigarette lighter?
There is a fuse, a 20A one IIRC down in the drivers footwell box. Pretty sure its seperate, at least I never noticed anything else not working bar the lighter socket !

JAPSPEED vs DRIFTWORKS
I am guessing these rears won't be very good then ? Either that or a bargain - who knows  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-REAR-UPPER-CAMBER-ARM-KIT-/160646634243?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2567491b03
