Hi, I have bought a trust oil cooler from kirbz with its sandwich plate, which attaches in between the oil filter and the block. My question being, do you just get rid of the old oem one and block off the oil feeds to the oem one bearing in mind the trust one connects to its sandwich plate via its own piping etc ? Mark

I would also change/ upgrade your stock IC's and yes ditch the aircon

appreciate the comments Si, the car has been 2 years in the making. I have driven it 50 miles in that time and pretty much replaced everything. Its sort of a funny love affair, but now practiaclly all finished and with regards to write about it Si, yeah, with my zillion photo's it would be a pretty good project..A little pic on that side now sorted anyway.. rust , It is a real sh1tter !! All sorted now and all cut out and replaced! Amazing the difference now..As I said at the start of the thread, mine is a uktt 1990..Now you could eat your dinner of the underside of the car, not that you would want to!! ;)

1500 uk zeds...hmmm..how many are still around..maybe half that amount?!? Would have thought that may incourage an increase in their value for the really good cars that are left..

certainly, quite interesting reading steve, as the club database would indicate that roughly there are 3 japanese imports to every uk based ZED...I wonder if this was run in say 2 or 3 years what sort of proportion would it be....

is it generally regarded that jap spec zeds are of better conditon? , but mint condition uk zeds are more desirable? all things being equal of course. Its amazing for a car that was released at a 30k or so price tag and not have any sort of rust proofing etc. I had seen a supra the other day ( at a local meet ) , it was a 94 and was in immaculate condition to the zed beside it.

just a query more than anything. How many uk zed's are there left...Do most of the members on the forum have a jap import? The reason I ask is my own uk zed was literally saved from the scrap heap, with the amount of rust on the car, it should have been scrapped, but thats another story. So another uk zed was saved... :cool:

yeah i know, but if michael wins and fernando is 'taken out!!' then due to the fact he has won more races he wins it...hence the senna theme as. not unlike this situation, he took prost out to do the same in suzuka a few years ago, suppose we'll see how much of a team player massa is .. :D
