  5. Happy Birthday Buddy.....:happybday::pint:.....Good luck with your run.
  6. Ian is a fantastic club member. He has let me have parts for mine, really is a club asset.
  7. Took a paddy missing her old owner I bet.
  8. I would have happily come round had I have lived a little closer.
  9. Yep, always had to have a valid tax disc too, whenever I have transferred or retained mine.
  10. What was it you were asking then?.....lol
  11. If the MOT ran out less than 12 months ago then yes you should be able to put the plate on retention. You can then assign the plate to any car you wish to if it doesn't make the car look newer than it actually is. IE you couldn't put a 13 plate on a 99 car. You couldn't put an H plate on a G plated car, and so on. If it's an ageless plate like mine (YIJ5666) it can be assigned to almost any vehicle.
  12. I know what you mean, that would wreck my brain, not that there is a lot to wreck.....lmao
  13. Very nice Zed that, thanks for posting Gary.
  14. Me too if you sell them and depending on price.
  15. G'day cobber. As has already been stated we love pics here, so any you can post up, post away. Yeah have a good look around our site, thanks for the comment on how we keep our cars, you have some excellent looking Zed's yourself down under. Look forward to pics of yours.
  16. This is the kit buddy. I don't think it was on eBay buddy. Well worth the drive. I enjoyed every minute of it Gary. I do love driving with a passion. Was in quite a bit of pain though, but again well worth it. It was a great day bud, and even better as as you say it was all Zed related. I didn't think for one minute it wasn't a sound car buddy, you only have to look at it to know it has been very well looked after and maintained. Thanks again Dave it was really nice to meet you, and Adam is so happy with the car, he really has got a smile from ear to ear. Wish you had told me the rear bumper lights lit up though, I had a screwdriver.......pmsl. They look brilliant when lit, I followed Adam some distance last night before we split up at a roundabout, and it looked fantastic from behind as well as it looks from the front. Feels like it this morning too.....lol. Lee's on Monday for my engine.
  17. Police training for the ambulance service buddy.....lol. Didn't hang around at all. It's terrible when your Mrs hears you Coming, very sensitive ears!!!!
  18. Was home before midnight buddy. Yeah get some sleep. What does the Mrs think about the Zed?
  19. Well my day started at 05:00 1st Aug. Up showered and out by 06:30. From our place drove to Shrewsbury to pick up Acraig (Adam). From Adam's place we drove to Banzai Breakers (Paul) in Farnborough, to collect my new Impul body kit. Thanks Paul. Had a great chat with Paul, and collected a couple more bits while we were there, including a front wing for Lee Dent. We then drove to Chippenham to see Dave (1Daveg) and his 1990 pearl white Zed that he had up for sale, and what a very nice guy Dave is, and his car is fantastic. Adam was viewing it as a potential purchase. It didn't take him too long to make up his mind that he was buying it as Dave has kept it in tip top condition. I think Dave will have had a little cry when we left, he was genuinely gutted that Adam had said yes and once all the paper work had been done, off we drove with it. (sorry Dave). Thanks for the drinks Dave, very much appreciated. From Chippenham we drove to Corwen North Wales to pay Keith (KJZ32) a little visit, and drop off my body kit and Lee's wing. Adam's new car never skipped a beat at all, he is well pleased with it, and with the Scorpion quad SS exhaust sounds absolutely brilliant. We stayed at Keith's for a little while, we then headed home. Thanks Keith for the drinks and letting me store my **it, I mean body kit at your place.....lol. Ian Jr and I haven't been back very long at all, and have clocked up more than 600 miles yesterday/today. Cheers Ian for all your work today. So a new club member very happy with his new purchase of a very nice Zed, and a new owner of a very nice Impul body kit, smiles all round I think. So good day all round. Next a trip to Scotland to see Lee (JaiKai) and collect my nice new shiny engine.
  20. Not a problem buddy, glad you are more than happy with your purchase, don't think you could have got much better than Dave's car buddy.
  21. Great news Mark, good luck with it buddy.
  22. Sent Si some rep for finding this and making it general knowledge to all.
