what prices are you people paying at the mo? my local garages are still charging 98.9 for unleaded 99.9 for diesel in fact no price drop but i've read on other forums about people paying less than 90p/ltr

well i think the k&n never suffered because it was a longer filter than the apexi so had less surface pressure also it had another cone on the tip where the apexi is solid, i've just put my splash gaurd back on so hopefully that will cure the problem

the stock splash gaurd came off with the stock bumper the k&n filter i had on before was ok but it was a longer filter than the apexi so less air pressure on the filter

bought a s/h apexi filter fitted it took the z out last night (heavy rain) as soon as i hit 3000rpm i hit safty boost checked it this morn and the filer has sucked in some water somewhere 2 questions do you need a splash gaurd with a apexi filter?(my k&n was ok on car) and do you need to oil a apexi? atb kev

they are supposed to be wider wheels on rear to take the 245 tyres but you should have l/r wheels on apropiate sides

that is correct sillen jap spec 225 all round uk spec 245 rear 225 front

hi bud conveted mine to j spec it's quite easy to do i kept the sidelights in the fogs then moved the indicators to the front corners only mods i had to do was 1. cut off the orginal sidelight bulb holder so i could solder it to sidelight and earth wires on the fogs 2. extend the indicator earth wire to fit to front corner 3. wire fog lights through a relay and switch so they work with dip beam at the same time i bypassed the dim dip system as my passenger side dip beam worked when it felt like it,to do that all you need to do is cut the passenger side dip beam positive cable and connect it to the positve on the main beam as it is switched by the earth cables hope this helps kev
