  3. Hi bud, sold her a few months back and my golf is going this Saturday only to put a deposit on a fairly new n/a zed haha. Back on the scene soon. I do miss my zed. Just won't have any boost or tub problems, well excited. It's manual too. The bug was used in a photoshoot in a mag in the states however........

  9. Hi. Time to sell up. Spent over 10k on my car in the last 2 years. Brand new engine, all parts also. Interior re-newed ect. A lot of you have seen my progress and knock backs and now with a knock on a brand new bottom end, and lots of work... it's really taken the piss. Just had enough of it eating money. It's just been run in by 1500 miles, new gt525 turbos as well from Z1. Any offers please PM me. I do not have the skill, time, money or interest to fix it anymore. I'm sure it's an easy fix for somebody with all the knowledge and tools. The engine is 88mm wiseco pistons, acl bearings and full divorced downpipe decat. I have made it into a stunning car and it gets lots of attention. You can view my pictures here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?175078-Gauging-Interest-for-valuation Thanks.
  10. No. I've only just finished 1500 miles. Was also having the smoking issue I said to you about out of the drivers side exhaust. Was advised to give it a hard boot down the motorway to clear it. Seemed to do the trick for a week. No smoke on start or idle... then it came back slightly. Was really bugging me. No point upgrading until the new system worked.
  11. Thanks people. Heavy knocking just like before. Not checked anything as I was pissed. Thousands down the drain... everything done right this time. I'm in a 'burn the fncking thing' mood. Every pipe is new, every gasket and piece of the engine. I can't see B&L taking the engine to bits at thier expense just to fix a bottom end? Or is it something to do with Z1's turbos? PCV's are new also... was smoking from first fitment.
  12. My guage is on/off but when it's on it's a true reading. Vurtually sat on the bottom white line, a day ago it was above 60. My last bottom end went and it's making the same noise at 2000rpm, nasty tinking noise. Very very odd as everything is brand new. Will find the receipt but it's been about a year of gradual running in.
  13. It's nothing to do with Terry as the bottom end was built by B & L like he says. It has been smoking from the driver's side exhaust. No idea what happened by oil pressure guage has dropped right down.
  14. I'll have to let you know. It's staying in the garage until I decide what to do. Maybe I should shove a blown v8 in there lol
  15. Oh well throwing the towel in and selling my Z. Just reached the end of the project, engine all run in and the new bottom end has gone for some reason? Any offers let me know but will need to be trailered. Everything is new on it including new gt525 tubs. Acl bearings internally ect. No idea. Just had enough after all this hard work.
  16. **** me. That looks sick! If you want your loom done give me a shout. I'm about tomorrow.
  17. Is that hard to do? Gather you need rear spacers after?
  18. Thanks Gary. Think the front needs lowering to compliment the rear fill though.
  19. Just selling it £1k just been dry stored
  20. All washed and ready, will look out for you guys =)
  21. Haha quality. I said about that 'non-seal' luckily mine covers that too =) Will let you know if it works or not
  22. Not sure why but the car seems 25% quicker, I cleaned the maf with contact cleaner too, the thing just wants to rev really fast and flies right up to around top rev range. No stumbling really and idle is sweet. Hopefully this is the end of my wet maf syndrome. Once again, some of the ideas on this site are fantastic. I couldn't get a black pot, plus they all had holes in the bottom. This was some sort of medium sized grow your own bulb thing that goes over the plants. Second to last picture - I have pulled the plastic down now past the bottom of the cone as this would of caught the rain still, so front part is now completely covered :) I'd still like a splash guard too when I get the money.
