  1. Happy birthday dude
  2. Thanks Andrew. I'll try and look to put them in at some point. It there a way of checking whether the recircs are in good condition or not or is there little that can be wrong?
  3. Happy belated :) Edit: Already said happy birthday lol
  4. Very cool. I wonder how good the oil is.
  5. Happy birthday matey
  6. Thanks Andrew. The air line that's on the top of the recirc - I'm guessing it'll be the same one that goes on the end of the BOV?
  7. It's basically like this. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/bov/bov.html Reading it, I'm guessing one of the pipes will have just been blocked off but would need to make sure I'm putting the right pipes In the right places
  8. Ill take pictures tomorrow. But in short they go where the old recircs go. Basically, I need to know how the recircs would look in situ
  9. I don't know what should be there lol
  10. That's what I'm asking, whether I should have all the pipe work mate
  11. I'm debating on fitting recirc valves back on to the zed (still unsure) where I currently have Apexi twin chamber BOV's. What I'm wondering is whether I should just be a straight forward swap or if there's a possibility of stuff missing?
  12. So I've got some recircs but not sure I want to give up on the bovs lol. How easy is it to fit the recircs back in?
  13. Looking forward to seeing it on the car.
  14. I've been debating doing it but I'm unsure about the pin strip, have seen it before on the clear ones and wasn't keen. Well be good to see how it looks on the car. Frankly, I love the fact you've out the red in the top. I'm going to be using the top one as my fogs too, got the auto resto led inserts for it donkeys ago but can never be bothered lol. Great job on this andy
  15. Looks like it'd have been a nice car too
  16. So managed to get the adjustment screws turning again and set the to approximately 4mm which used to be the recommended thing. That's 4mm past the locking nut (which is no longer on them because I damaged the nut in the past). So will see if the brilliant flutter sound has gone away tomorrow night when I can test it out. That being said, I just bought some recircs as well just in case I decide to go this way but will need to see how easy it is going back to this set up first. In regards to testing the BOVs - I have a tyre blower upper machine that you plug in to the cig lighter, do you think that should pressurise the system enough to check for any boost/Vaccuum leaks?
  17. So what's out the option of black painted 99 insert?
  18. I think your vote is 89's given the options I have
  19. What about if they're painted black?
  20. I was meaning the insert ones. Specifically this set.. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?178490-SOLD-JDM-300zx-manual-TT-with-high-HP-mechanical-mods-%A32500

Well leave him at home then lol
  22. So... Because I'm thick... That made nee sense lol
  23. What do you think is better looking? 89 spec or 99 spec. Well at least the 89 spec with the 99 spec inserts. It's a black car
  24. Yeah they'd only work when you're on boost. Chatter isn't a good thing mate as its the turbos stalling. Out of interest do you have any pictures of the setting/adjusting screw? I'm curious where others are set
  25. Do you think I'd hear them well enough if they're leaking? I'm guessing I could fix the leak as I'd assume it'd be an O ring or something?
