Thought I'd put mine in as I'm sure some of the long standing members remember my old blue zed that I spent around 20 grand fixing. I'm sure the comment in my sig was added in 2007. Now the other week i started trying to see what I'd spent on it. Now I'm at over 30 grand in what I can remember and could find. Mist of that not including labour and various other stuff that cost loads but can't remember. So really I could be well over the 40k mark without realising. Now here's the crap bit. When u look at my car, then look at jasons beast you gotta think my efforts have been completely wasted.

I thought I would finally comment on this thread. I think the main thing that was missing this year was music. More or less all of the other tents had music and had more of a party atmosphere. They also had games and things. We use to have that sort of thing a few years back. I appreciate the comments about jasons car but to be honest for the last few years the beast has provided the music and entertainment for everyone. I do think it would be good to get better access though. Maybe a gazebo the opens in the middle then jason can move the beast to the side (hope that makes sense). Anyway, I've told him the only reason he won this year was because my car wasn't there. Next year he may have no chance haha. I have to say though I had a good time with everyone. Just think we could liven it up a little bit and play games etc... Even if it's just a beer pong tournament lol. Perhaps we should get involved with the activities that jar put on too like the racing, football and tug of war etc. The swapping parts thing is a cannY idea but unless an agreement has already taken place it's probably unrealistic for people to get loads of stuff in their cars. Maybe if people wanted to sell stuff or have stuff they could sell then bring it with them. I would like to say a big thanks to everyone there as we had a nice time. Also thanks to those organising everything for us to enjoy.

Update: Spoke to Duncan today and he's advised the engine won't fit back in and that the Pipeworks needs to be made up. So I'm having no zed the jae. I'm gutted about it, I'm really starting to get sick of being a zed owner, I've spent so much on it but then end up with problems. I have to wonder though if the work thy are going to do is really necessary. Nend provided the stuff and it's normally spot on from him. I can't check anything though as I'm in sunderland and the cars in scotland ffs

Completely get why jeff but complaining about things not being perfect rather than just getting the job done isn't great though is it? For example if I'd given it to ZedWorld I would assume you'd have just got it done or said this is the situation and it will cost you a little bit more etc. Am I wrong to think that???

I just spoke to Duncan. He's telling me they're having a nightmare with it because now the pipes are sitting 2-3inches further out than they would normally which would probably be right because of the turbo housing being turned. He's not sure if the engine will fit back in ok as thinks there might not be enough room. What do you's think?
