  1. Dave - I do have the splashguard but its cut for the air filter Videos as promised:
  2. Could you immobiliser be stuck on for some reason?
  3. Do I need to drive it with them unplugged? It's been driving great today so seems to be when it's wet or damp
  4. Thanks guys, changed the idle as best I could but it's a little up and down but you can only see it on the datascan. The cars clocks look fairly static. I will do the IAA when I get the chance. How does this look now? I revved the car up to a bit over 2k as well and the rh O2 sensor wasn't moving much. Will put a video up later showing that.
  5. I had a 2 gauge holder in re bottom of mine in the past. Think I still have it in the garage with a couple if gauges if you want a look. I have some good glue you can have too, it's a spray type (got like 12 cans and I didn't even use 1 when doing mine). I'll come and give you a hand if you like too. Some red interiors look nice mate once it's all done. Plus if you do it with leatherette rather than proper leather i don't think it's too much to change in future.
  6. Okies, I'll clean that and turn the idle down a little to 750. And take another reading with the engine up to temperature
  7. Right, I drove to work this morning and everything was completely fine (really nice day here). It boosted fine when cold and when engine was up to temp. It also did that last week when it was fine and then not. I might have a MAF and another air filter sitting around, is it worth changing them and driving for a couple of days?
  8. Hi mate, thanks for the above info. I'll get the car up to temp and take another reading. I have a feeling the plugs are iridium but john dixon told me the ones to get so would have thought they were good. The strange thing is it was completely fine untilthe other week then it started being a pain in the butt lol.
  9. Its not just an app for this forum is it? Its not free either boohoo
  10. I did a boost leak check and couldn't here anything coming out. Would be much better if I had the smoke ones but seemed ok. The idle is a little up and down to be honest mate, goes from around 1k to 1.5k somewhere. But I'm worried if I turn it down that I might stall. The injectors are 740cc nismos. I did have it mapped but boost etc was turned right down because it was Mis-firing. But the car has ran fine for ages since then. Ptu is a series 2 The plugs are decent ones, heat rating 8. I'm a little unsure about the O2 sensors to be honest as one is sitting at 100 but they do move when car is revving. I've changed the tps to .44. I haven't a clue how to check the IAA :/ Here is the datascan thing.
  11. I just changed them all from standard to splitfires and first drive all was great, next day it was like this again, Don't know if it's worth mentioning but it only happens when driving under boost. If my foots on the clutch or the car is in neutral it revs perfectly fine
  12. I'm sure we did it at JAE too
  13. At around 3k to 4k revs (only when on the move) the car seems to stutter/ stop me going any further. Not sure what it is though, perhaps the fuel cutting out. It's very strange
  14. It hasn't thrown up any fault on datascan
  15. Pmsl. Tell her yes. For the rest of us no lol. Sadly we didnt do anything like this, use to always be JAE but I'm sure people would dress up if a few wanted to. But like I said no one will mind her being a French maid lol
  16. Thanks guys, the idle was a bit rough but calmed down now (I had put the tps back down to .44 as suggested by someone), the unplugging of the MAF would be no good if I can't rev over 2k as the problems I'm getting happen above that. Basically hen I'm driving on boost a seem to be hitting a brick wall at certain times and feels like the car just won't boost any further, a little scary to be honest. The MAF looked like it might be a little damp inside but it was a shitty day. It's done the same thing before though when it's been a nice day
  17. Tony was yours ever fixed and the problem narrowed down?
  18. I'll have a think. Don't mind camping lol
  19. So you not know the cost
  20. All - why don't we go to Redcar after Paul leaves? Could ya's post in our section though so others can see it - just don't want anyone missing out. Kev - I've still technically not been made the reo yet. I think vodkashots is sorting it out though
  21. How much did the hotel cost? I normally just camp
  22. Looks like the 2 drivers seats from star trek next generation. Warp 8 please data
  23. Is there any way to check if the MAF is working properly or not? I had it out today out I have a feeling it might have got wet recently. Also where's best to buy them?
  24. I have 2 sets but I think one the the fronts got battery acid on once cos of a friend
  25. Good good
