To throw it out there, i dont think you can really put a price on these cars now. Auto or manual, standard or mildly modified, the prices of cars on the market is so varied. I think the seller make the price up in their head, around whatthey feel its worth, then its just the luck of the draw if the buyers out there see that car and are willing to pay thay price for it. I put Ian's Red Manual TT up, S2 interior, Running decent power, 99 Front bumper, not really any rust, for £1600 and couldn't sell it! When i put that NA up it sold straight away for £1500.

Plenty of people buy cars for more money than that, how many are as fast as that? I'd buy it if i could..

Im sure it got the record of highest top speed, then it was broken again days later. Wonder why they are selling it?

Do you know if they would cover a track car? No power gains, and no expensive wheels, bodykits etc, but lighter and better suspension and brakes... Cheers

Ive just renewed the M3 with FJ. Slightly more expensive than the best price i got, but not by much. I stayed with them due to my good experience with them. 7 Series is also with them.

If thats what they said, i guess it is. Call back and see if the next person says the same things.

Having cut many up myself, its all part of the fun! I once sold a running Twin turbo minus the panels and interior etc to a fella for £700. He wanted it to transplant into a moggy minor. He's got a build thread on retro rides, but i dont think he's got that far yet..
