Induction system
Definately interested in just the pipework will get another Apexi to go on it. Is the pipework the pipe that will come off the AFM and split into two, if so I'll have one! I don't suppose that it's possible to replace the T-pipe as well is it? Jon

Induction system
Hey, I have a 1992 N/A Auto Z. At the moment I have an Apexi induction filter fitted on. What I am after doing is expanding this to a twin induction, think I saw that Smithy had one on his, how much did all that cost and where do you get the pipe for the twin induction? Also the T-Pipe that actually connects it all and the AFM, can this be replaced with anything that is a little more bling, be it silicon or metal. Does anyone know if anyone makes these? Any help would be really appreciated! Cheers Jon

Air Filter - Cone or Panel??
It's easy to fit as well, make sure you have a 10mm Bolt rachet though, some of the bolts are a little tricky to get to! Jon

Air Filter - Cone or Panel??
hey Dan, The Z does have sensor, the Air Flow Meter. I fitted an Apexi to mine not too long ago. The AFM goes inbetween the Apexi and the T-pipe. Doesn't uspet it all all, as it's just another form of intake, the AFM doesn't actually move anywhere. I have fitted these in the past and have had no where to put the sensor so it was nice to see that the Apexi is truely custom fitted to the Z in this case! Hope this helps, and by the way the Apexi does make a difference!! I got mine from Getgreddy, arrived really fast! Cheers Jon

Problem with insurance and Cat 1 alarm
hey, I haven't got any previous paperwork for it unfortunately. I just assumed that because it was a clifford and remote start that it was the non-thatcham approved variety, read it in a car magazine somewhere this month. So even the non-approved clifford can be turned into one by just taking the remote start off? The guy on the phone said that he could fit a thatcham approved alarm and then fit a remote starter on it using a seperate RF transmitter or something like that? Cheers Jon

Problem with insurance and Cat 1 alarm
I didn't think about that, but the remote start and everything is on the same fob. I'll ask the guys at the alarm place, they seem like a good bunch, have been running in my area for years, so hopefully if there's a way around it they will tell me rather than taking my money, which could be spent on some shiny things for the car. Cheers Bob, will definately get them to look! Jon

Problem with insurance and Cat 1 alarm
I had a bit of a nightmare with that. When I bought my car last week, it had a Clifford G5 on it I think with the remote starter on it, which is a great toy, but not Thatcham approved. I've got it booked into a place on Wednesday to get a new one. Insurance for me requires Thatcham 1 approved, so it's gonna cost me £300 including fitting to get installed. I've been told they can fit a remote start on it though, which is still nice to show off with!! Cheers Jon

Hard Pipes
Hey, Been checking out other people's rides on here. I have to say the engine looks awsome with the hard pipes in! I've got my APexi Induction kit and grounding kit on the way thanks to Getgreddy and Pete Shrimp. Next I want to get some hard pipes in there. How do I get hold off these? Has anyone heard of a place called Motoscope in Northallerton, north Yorkshire? That's the nearest place to me that seem to specialise in performance cars. Just wondering if they might be able to do it for me! Cheers Jon

Induction Kits
Those guides certainly help, many thanks. Think I'm confident enough to go ahead and do it when the kit arrives!! Just one more question! If I wanted to fit twin induction in the future how does that work, is the T-pipe binned and a new one put in? Cheers Jon

Can anyone give me some advice to which one is the best to buy, the price range varies, so was just wondering which one I actually need! Also are they easy to fit yourself. Does anyone have any pictures with one fitted. Also, do I need two of them ot just one? Cheers for your help in advance Jon
