  1. hey everyone, and happy new year to you all! does anyone know how i can stop my cat eating all my house-plants, not only does it destroy the plants, but they might be poisonous to her. shes 15 now, so theres not a chance in hell of me training her not to, i was just wondering if theres anything i could spray on ? cheers everyone
  2. goddamn, im only 25 but i agree totally! especially the bit about the H&S suing culture we now seem to live in. my dad always tells me about being allowed to climb a tree without carrying out a risk assessment in triplicate! and how if a police man told you to do something you bloody well did, not just tell him to F&^% off as loud as they can, knowing the copper cant do bugger all because they'l brand him a pedo if he even moves toward them. i mean even when i was growing up i was shit scared of the police if i was in the wrong, and any adult come to think of it. now the little sh^%s dont seem to be afraid of authority figures in any way!?!?? R.I.P common sense generation :hang::sad:
  3. hey everyone, ive got the dreaded fuel leak and my car stinks of fuel every startup. could anyone tell me what id hose i need to buy? cheers :-)
  4. I had exactly the same issue with my screen going off, and it was that my PSU was failing and not putting out enough to run the card. might be worth a look? also as allready mentioned your card could be getting hot. best bet is to get another screen and see if the same happens. as for the laptop, what windows is it running? have you tried disabling your network adapter driver and re enabling to see if that helps?
  5. lol, that sounds like its gotta be a euphemism for something lol
  6. Ha! was most amuuuzing lol, it cudnt have gone too far lol think the mrs thought i was flat though lol
  7. Blimey, Surely not Mac VS Windows lol! how original! lol. ahh well here we go...... im a windows user and allways have been, i have had very little mac experience so cant really make any educated comments about any of the mac OS. but what i do know is that each has its benefits and you should deffinately choose the best one to suit your individual needs. and as far as i can see it for the home user the windows route is the only way to go, and this is only because windows is sooooooooo popular and therefore better suited to your everyday user for many reasons. this is probrably only down to marketing, same as betamax and vhs. betamax was blatently the better system but vhs was marketed better. and as for the vista issue, i never had any bother! but i did have a fairly high power system so resources werent an issue. i did have a few issues with compatibility like everyone else in the early days, but was fine after that. but in my oppinion you cant beat 64 bit W7
  8. no worries pal, im easy either way really, it depends on what the majority want to do. no point in splitting for the benefit of meets etc if most would rather meet somewhere mid wales :-) would be intersting to see what people think though
  9. Nightmare! i just managed to get my car up the drive after a few attempts tonight. my drive has a bit of a slope to it, but nothing major. i turned off, left her in gear and put the handbrake on hard. popped the boot and went round to unload the shopping, and being a lazy **** i always try to take all the bags in in one go, no matter how many there are lol. as i just grabbed the 2nd to last bag and balanced it somewhere on my forearm (i had about 11 asda bags hanging off me by now) the bloody car slid down the drive!!!!! knocking me down and luckily pushing my down behind it :-( but more importantly it ran over one of my cans of caffreys!!!!!!!!! to be fair it came to a stop in the middle of the road, and i guess losing one can wasnt that bad really,,,,,,,, it pierced another so i had to 'mercy drink' that one :~) wish someone had filmed it really lol
  10. no worries :-) cheers pal
